A silent film was made here in 1910 including Tom Mix as the bronco buster. Tom Mix became known as the King of the Cowboys.
Unfortunately, a fire burned the 20th Century Fox warehouse in 1937. All the known copies of many Tom Mix films were lost.

My buddy in jr high lived just outside of town. Had one of those mounds in a field of theirs

When I was in grade school we would take field trips to the Tom Mix museum they would play some of his old films. Some of his guns used to be on display there as was his horse if I remember right.

We have a few of these mounds in the general area south of Dewey like Claremore Mound and small nipple mounds near Chelsea and Wagner, go west to Glass Mountains, Antelope Hills or Black Mesa and they are very pronounced.

I'm liking the voiceovers you are doing, Tom. Great production!

Track is too loud, cannot discern the vocals.

Was this a man made mound? Ancient native built?
