  • John Deacon, the greatest low profile guy in rock music who wrote superhits. What an extraordinary legend!
  • Just a down to earth guy, married to the same woman, raised 6 children. He lived a special but difficult life. Lots of travel, lots of money, a member of a great special band, creative, down to earth. Wants to live quietly which he had earned. I always thought he was really cute, unpretentious, and private. More power to him.

His deep grief for Freddie caused him not to be able to perform without Freddie. I wish him nothing but the very best.

Folks, please leave John alone. He obviously doesn’t like or want the attention, he is pretty much a recluse and seems to prefer it that way. Something in John died with Freddie, please leave him be. People digging into his family, net worth, assets etc is just plain disrespectful. He is a very private person. To paraphrase Chris Crocker, LEAVE DEAKY ALONE!!!

Seen him live 3 times with queen over the years, and bumped into him at my local supermarket as he was shopping with his wife, looked like they just popped in on way back from holiday, a very quiet man and so down to earth. He does not need the lime light, he was the working force behind the Band. A true Gent👍
  • One of the best bass players of his time. The loss of Freddie Mercury had a profound effect on John. He deserves a quiet life away from the limelight, he has earned it from his time with Queen. A true legend who deserves to be allowed to live his life quietly as a devoted family man

Good to see his still doing well. When Freddie died it hit him pretty hard and he did go downhill but he found ways to keep going forward. God bless him and Queen rule forever

I watched cause John Deacon, Queen bassist extraordinaire is too special to ignore. It was great seeing his grown children. All the best to Deaky and his loved ones. And "thanks John, for all your music that brightens my days when necessary."
  • @honestannie9492
I truly in my heart ❤️ believe Deaky was/is the most emotionally stable of the group. Very down to earth. We shouldn’t be critical of him. He gave too much of himself and his talents to us.

John Deacon "likely owns" ???? Who did the research on this video? Hey Siri! Tell me about John Deacon!
  • @thefool2007
What a fantastic musician. Thank you John for all that you did. Definitely an inspiration to many and me for sure. Love his bass and composition.
  • @MissMaggie246
I’ve always wondered if Mr. Deacon ever plays his bass, you know, at home privately. Maybe just to keep the music alive for himself. He certainly had the gift for it. I hope that he is happy and enjoying life.

Джон единственным настоящим другом остался для Фредди! Единственный,кто не стал его порочить и обливать грязью и называя геем. Джон единственный,кто не променял свою душу и совесть. Спасибо вам Джон! Спасибо,что не Предали Фредди!

So many mistakes about John in one video.
  • I wish I had seen Queen, in my early years, mum and dad did, at Knebworth, John has earned his way to the top, a quick awesome bass player that gave Queen the edge. I must admit I would love to shake his hand and say thank you for the music, but that won’t be possible, Queens music and that LiveAid gig will live on forever, saying that I watched the movie last night, I wish John good health and I just hope John puts on Queen music every so often. Thank you John Deacon and Queen.

John was always a private person I like many others think when Freddie died a peace of himself did as well. Always been a deacon fan being a Leicester lad like him . His choice to live a quiet life should be respected.. thanks john for all the beautiful music and memories you and the boys gave me take care my friend. 🎸💙
