The scene has simple but excellent storytelling. I really like how each master does a little better than the previous one until he is ultimately surpassed. You can even feel the antagonist being nervous when he struggles to put the lady away. Great job by everybody.

Without role like this, movies like Ip Man will never be as great as it is! I always a great choreography fight, imo I feel you guys deserve more credit and shoutout for being part of a great fighting movie. 💗

The funny thing is, the actor who is challenging Ip Man is actually a huge fan boy 😁 congrats to him for getting such a great opportunity even if he has to play a jerk in the role 😂

After seeing other people's comments I decided to check and Chris's movements made much more sense. His karate blocks were closer to the body than Goju Ryu or Shotokan and felt more akin to Wing Chun, even when the form is flawless. His delivery is excellent and I honestly cant imagine how many takes it took to perform the flying kick takedown. Great job. Simply great.
