Thank you! I was diagnosed with 4th stage crc last august have experienced neuropathy with fulfox chemo including l'hermitte sign . I am rebuilding and this video helped understand the importance of the nervous system and the mechanics. What a complicated system the body is.

Always keen to learn something about what I know nothing about.

If one were, for example, writing a novel and wished to create an organism that would systemically weaken the enemy, fashioning one that would enter through different but associated ''doors' by infiltrating the gut, brain and, thusly, the vagus nerve would seem to be the most elegant method of attacking said target because the vagus system appears to touch every other system within the human body. The vagus nerve is also, so far as my inexpert eye can see, an integral component of every adverse event catalogued. Your passionate analysis of this aspect of human physiology is exactly what my uneducated brain ''saw'' or felt was happening, even in terms of the apparent activation of latent, often fairly ordinary autoimmune conditions, so naturally I am biased - however, I do not think you are wrong and I do think that the science is sound. I believe it is entirely possible that this whole affair, virus and its cure, was that elegant solution to someone's problem, written on the pages of human history instead of penned on harmless paper. Or it was all plain bad luck, haste and stupidity. Same result either way.
  • If cholesterol is a precursor to myelin, then i think statins are a bad idea. Also, I'm wondering what predisposes someone to have more ennervated vagus. Androgens? Those are fat based.
  • Any tests recommended to check for vascular and endothelial health to detect these new fibrous clots which may be hidden? Only thing I know of is the D-Dimer test so far

I wonder how the bluetooth transcievers affect the vegas nerve given signal strenth is exponentially proportional to proximity.

Such an interesting subject. My teenaged daughter had a Vagus Nerve Stimulator device inserted by her neurosurgeon in London in 2020. This device is on a rapid cycle setting to continuously stimulate the nerve to help reduce the huge load of daily (drug resistant) seizures. We are thankful for this technology that improves her quality of life.

I think this is the main cause of my fast heart beats and palpations. I also have bad pins and needles/twitching randomly. My nervous system sends me into anxiety feeling When I was having bad ear ringing every day I did vagus nerve taps a few times a day along with some nac/natto/bromelin and the tapping helped get rid of it.

I know a ton about the vagus nerve and still found this fascinating and informational. Thank you. šŸ˜Š

@ Merogenomics: If / is methylation pathways are compromise can this affect the myelin of the vagus nerve? Past; 2001 C spine fusion now broken down. "TMJ ligament issues" use of Neurosyme contributing to TMJ ligament dysfunction?
