I dunno why people dont talk about the Santa one. It was weirdly hilarious.

I really wanted to like it as much as S1. But it wasn't quiet up to it. Still a pleasure to watch. The animation is crazy good.

Too bad season 2 didn't gave me the "what the f..." vibe like season 1 did.
  • They need to make a show out of Pop Squad. Beautiful look at human nature and darker than most of these edgy shows. I would love to see more of this has huge Blade Runner vibes to me.

The Tall Grass in my opinion tapped into the fear of being left behind, I felt anxious when the conductor had yelled out twice like he said, then you could hear the train start later on and I was worried for the guy. That conductor was a badass as well going to save one of his passengers, what a legend.

"I'm not that much in love with myself that I want to live forever"

The issue with this season is there is very little depth. I wasn't left thinking or feeling anything deeply after finishing these episodes, unlike season 1.

In Ice the modded brother faked his leg injury so his brother would be accepted

My top 3 episodes were Pop Squad, The Tall Grass, and All Through The House. Loved all of the stories but I wish some of them were longer.

Interesting fact: Both Ice and Zima Blue were made by the same studio, hence the similar artstyle.
  • The episode where humanity can't have babies anymore hit me harder. It's the downfall of humanity, alive but no more human than human ever before
  • Pop squad is one of those shorts that needs a movie hell some of the shorts need full on movies

I think a key point you missed from Pop Squad was the question of how far will we allow a society to dictate our own sense of morality. His literal job was to arrest unsanctioned parents and terminate their offspring.
  • Pop squad was so good, felt like I was watching the departed but with a deeper meaning

Is it just me that thought the episodes were way to short?

I found really interesting that the episodes "pop squad" and "drowned giant" are somehow linked! The same is buldings of from drowned giant are appearing also in pop squad.

My favorite episode was snow in the desert. wish that was turned into a series. And pop squad was really good also major blade runner vibes.
  • @elsimain
I didn't notice there was only 8 episodes so when it ended I felt underwhelmed and dissatisfied
  • @DoolallyForever
I think all of us can agree that pop squad was the best episode
