My best friend and I covered this song in 2013 for our first live performance together, both sophomores in high school at the time. In 2018 he passed of suicide after I left for the navy. I regret leaving that small town all the time but every time I hear this song I go back to all the times we practiced and jammed this song together in his room. Miss you bro. ❤

killswitch engaged , saved my life , i still suffer from mental health issues today , but many years ago i fell off the band wagon when life got incredibly harder for me , and i was on the verge of giving up , i went to a killswtch engaged concert that night as i thought it was gonna be my last , but during the concert i broke down , to which the entire band saw my breakdown , and knew i was suffering , they stopped the show , and the lead singer jumped off stage , grabbed me , took me to the stage , and said to the crowd , " i just saw this man suffering in the crowd , and i know his pain, as i like you all suffer from this from time to time , so lets show him some love , brother you are not alone , " and he hugged me , and got the crowd to support me , stopping me from ending my life that night , ill never forget it , and this song especially meens something to me , great band :) respect to them all and thank you

This song changes it’s meaning for me every time I find it. From 16 to 34. That is why I believe it’s a musical masterpiece.

My friend, who just died today, 10-2-2018, introduced me to Killswitch Engage. This is my favorite of their songs. RIP John Mesa.
  • This has doubled in views within the past two weeks. And I bet it's all the same people listening again over and over ;)

[Intro] Seek me, call me I'll be waiting Seek me, call me I'll be waiting [Verse 1] This distance, this dissolution I cling to memories while falling Sleep brings release, and the hope of a new day Waking the misery of being without you Surrender, I give in Another moment is another eternity [Chorus] (Seek me) For comfort, (Call me) For solace (I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart (Seek me) Completion, (Call me) I'll be waiting (I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart [Verse 2] You know me, you know me all too well My only desire - to bridge our division In sorrow I speak your name And my voice mirrors, mirrors my torment [Chorus] (Seek me) For comfort, (Call me) For solace (I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart (Seek me) Completion, (Call me) I'll be waiting (I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart Am I breathing? My strength fails me Your picture, a bitter memory! For comfort, for solace (Seek me) For comfort, (Call me) For solace (I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart (I'll be waiting)

Not that generic Metalcore you hear nowadays. THIS SONG is a great example of what Metalcore should be.

Fan of Killswitch Engage since high school. Hearing this again because Roddy Strong is All Elite. I didn't heard this song in years!!!!
  • Was here before because this was a banger, here again because Roderick Strong is All Elite.

I remember getting ready to walk out of the Resident Evil movie credits... then this came on and I told my bud, we gotta wait till this awesome song goes off.. then we leave.
  • Last night bought me here. If you know, you know. I need more Killswitch Engage on my playlist.
  • When I got the news of my stepdad's death, it hit me like a freight train. I was so shocked and in-denial that I just went inside the house and continued watching the second Paul WS Anderson Resident Evil movie (the one in Raccoon City). This song played in the credits, and that was when the emotions finally kicked in and I realized he was gone. This song always makes me think of him, all the time we used to spend together, how hard he worked for my mom and I to be happy. Happy birthday Dad, I still love you and miss you so much. I wish you were still here to see how far I've come.
