Here is a new video !!
This is a rare Live Steam model train produced by the German company "BING" around 1920.
It was in very bad shape, pretty much rusted, both pistons were seized.
I've had to create new labels, not sure about the painting work tho... I did my best.
Some parts were very thin they couldn't be sandblasted. I used electrolytic pickling.
Please watch till the end to see this rare live steam locomotive in action !
By supporting the channel you help me make more of these video and find more amazing items.
I hope you'll enjoy this restoration.

Minimal music...no talking...just a nice, relaxing and awesome restoration video. I LOVE this!
  • I was obsessed with trains as a little girl, my great grandfather worked for the railroad. As a child he would tell me of his adventures and hardships back then. Seeing you restore this steam engine with love and care makes my heart happy. Especially since there are so few out there that still do your level of complete restoration. My great grandfather was also German, he would have been so proud to see this engine done and where it was made. Thank you 🙏 so much for sharing.
  • The restoration itself is amazing, but to me what's even more amazing is your ability to remember how to put everything back together again!
  • Было время, когда в работу по изготовлению игрушек мастера вкладывали свою душу. После такой рестоврации душа вновь оживает ☝️. Золотые руки 🖐️

The reason why they stopped making those toy trains is because they cout a lot of houses on fire back in the day, seeing this restored is pretty rare
  • One of the best restorations I've watched. Totally impressed with the "before & after" comparison AND the fact that you've got it running ... under its own steam ... literally. Nice work!
  • Великолепно! Вторая жизнь винтажной игрушки! При этом использовались только оригинальные детали. Браво!!!

What a shame we have gotten so technical that we don't build Beautiful things like this anymore. Thank God for people who do this kind of preservation.
  • I just cannot believe how great that turned out! It looks beautiful and it runs really well. Thanks for sharing this wonderful tutorial.

My brother had an-online business selling Japanese brass engines to collectors all over the world. His whole 50’ x50’ basement was a train set up. Great job giving this a new life! Choo choo!
  • Какая тщательная реставрация, столько мелких и крупных деталей.Да раньше умели делать игрушки, а теперь есть мастера по их возрождению . Браво !
  • You know it's going to be a good day when it starts with "electrolytic oickling". Thanks Mr. Fabrik!
  • I love the "cowboy" background music during the restoration. I really love old trains but I've never seen a real steam powered set! So awesome to have!
