It is late when we start our RV and start our Summer road trip over abandoned Roads in Northern Canada. The golden light of the Midnight sun casts a magical light. We headed out to look for morel mushrooms on last years burn sides. But first we go camping on a simple Yukon campground at a deep blue lake. While our little baby boy plays in the shallow waters the two of us jump into the wild lake without mush hesitation. Or maybe a little … 😜

As always it is very late once we finally hit the road. But we are so far North that summer nights never get really dark. The midnight sun hangs low while we drive along blooming wildlflowers and glistening lakes.

When we finally hit our first destination we fall into bed exhausted. But the next morning we enjoy the beauty of a simple Yukon Government Campground under a summer’s sky. The sun is warm and the sky blue. The only downside is the coffee. Because we did not bring any…

We jump into the lake and play with Kato in the shallows before we finally get back into the RV to continue our journey to the old forest fire side. But we are a bit tired and still without coffee. So it does not take long before everybody sleeps except Peter. But than there is the Inly gas station on the way…
