Watching this video again after seeing "Top Gun: Maverick" makes me appreciate the shots selection and overall cinematography by the editors/camera guys even more, when watching the Dudes shoot planes off of the deck.
Seriously, put "Danger Zone" over that, and you have the intro to any "Top Gun" movie 😎🍿🎬 -

I’ve been in the Navy for almost 14 years and y’all have gotten to do things that I will never get to. Lucky dudes for sure.

When my oldest son joined the Navy eight years ago, our family was invited for a whole day on the USS Reagan as it sailed out to sea to get a tour of the ship and what the sailors did. We were also on the top deck as carriers took off. It was an amazing experience with 30,000 people on that ship. I now have two sons serving in the Navy and one in the Marines.

I was lucky enough to go on a Nimitz Cruise when I was 8 years old. My Uncle served 25 years on the Nimitz. Doing a cruise on it was one of the best things I've ever experienced. It gave me my love for Aviation. I have worked with Airplanes for 13.5 years and I love my job so much. Seeing those planes on the flight deck catapult off was an insane rush that I'll never ever forget. What a dream it was to have that opportunity. I'd love to do it again someday but if not, I am beyond blessed to have already gotten to do it. Love our US Navy and all the cool things they get to do. 💕
