"YOU TOOK MY HOME AND TORE IT ALL APART!" i've never hated an antagonist so much, when i freed all the champions, it just... hurt. they didn't deserve this. they should of gotten to go home to their parents and siblings and people.

Link has so much on his shoulders. Not just his friends, family, champions. But all the knights and Hylians who have fallen too. But only that, but potentially the entire world.

I wish the entire Zelda series could be turned into an anime and each season would be a different game. This would be the opening of like, season 18 or 19. Holy crap there’s a lot of games

You know, I don't believe in people who can predict the future, but this song comes as close to proof as it gets, with how accurate it is to TotK. "Defeat the Decay " (referring to how Gloom decayed all weapons at the start of the game), "Save Hyrule again" (which is simply the fact that we're playing as the same Link from BotW again), "I'm lost in the dark" (referring to the Depths, where Zelda slipped from Link's grasp), "Wishing I could rewind to the start!" (referring to the Recall ability, and that Zelda went back to the era of Hyrule's founding), and "You take my home and tear it all apart!" (referring the Upheaval in general, which lifted Hyrule Castle into the sky and tore open the chasms to the depths, which look like bloody wounds in the land itself) are some of the most on-point predictions I've heard from a song, and the fact that there're so many of them here is insane. The more I listen to this, the more I find. "Took the breath right out of my heart" refers to how Ganondorf saps Link of his strength right at the beginning of the game, and "I can feel you here, part of me" refers to the Sages' Vows (which Let link summon their avatars), the fact that Recall is actually Zelda's ability, and how his right arm has been replaced by Rauru's. Not to mention the "comforting presence" of the Light Dragon (as per its compendium entry). The use of "We fight back" instead of "I fight back" also fits TotK better than BotW, since the final battle is fought alongside the Sages in TotK, whereas BotW is much more of one-on-one ordeal, from beginning to end. "I'm trapped and fallen down" in a woman's voice doesn't even need to be explained, does it? Zelda is trapped in the past after falling from crumbling ruins beneath Hyrule Castle. And yet, despite all of those predictions, this song somehow manages to spoil NOTHING, because you have to understand the references to see them.

Has anyone noticed how lonely Link must be on this adventure in particular? He can't remember anyone, all the bonds he makes during the adventure are only able to be active at the right time and place. Nobody is partnering with him. He's just all alone and confused... I know he regains some memories but... They're just small bits and pieces, what about family? Maybe even other things, like other friends he used to have, his childhood. There is nothing like that during the memories we find in the game. It's just sad to think about, he has nothing left. He just wakes up with no memories of a life he once had. He is told to do something he knows in his heart he has to do but in his mind its just information that can't really be processed. Out in the open, alone and maybe even afraid. Nobody to comfort him or show him that everything will be okay. I feel bad for him. As I said, he has nothing left anymore...
