  • Hello, I have been watching your videos for a while, but never commented before, I am a disabled vet and live alone and I really appreciate your easy recipes and the details you provide as well as your message during your videos. Just wanted to say thanks, I have used several of your recipes and not one has ever disappointed! Many blessings 🙏

I'm poor. I NEEDED this video. Thank you so much. And thank God for guiding me to you.
  • I already knew this recipe so I didn't need that. What I needed was the time listening to you and smiling because there is such a beautiful Christian soul giving respite from the awful news videos that are so prevalent in this fallen world. Thank you ❤

I made this recipe. I added raisins to the dough. When I did the final step I put spoonfuls in the pan and sprinkled each lump with cinnamon. We love rasin cinnamon bread, but...the price of a store bought loaf just isn't in the budget. With this...I can make it all the time. Great recipe.

I don't remember if I told you about how I like to eat fresh, warm bread or not, butter is okay, but I like to bake a loaf and while it bakes, I go to the garden and select a ripe beefsteak tomato and pick it. Then I take a thick slice out of the middle of the tomato (still warm from the sun). I slice the bread and slather mayonnaise on both slices to make a sandwich with the tomato. The yeastiness of the bread and the acidity of the tomato make wonderful combination that when I think about it, it makes my mouth water. Yum!😋

I have made this twice in one week - LOVE IT! The 2nd time I made it 1-1/2 times (3C Flour, 1-1/2teas of yeast, sugar, salt, 1-1/2C water) because I wanted to get the loaf a little larger for Tuna melt sandwiches - It was magnificent. Thank you Becky for all the great recipes and scriptures!.

I'm learning to bake bread. My friend gave me a sourdough start and I put it in the freezer because it was too intense with all of the gram measuring and the steps. This is a perfect recipe for me! Thank you so much and thank you for including our Lord Jesus Christ in your videos, I love it!
  • My grandmother told us kids that eating just-baked bread was bad for you. I think she just wanted there to be some left come dinner time.
  • @cryptopeter1
I'm a bread maker in Florida. So I know how to make bread. But watching you made my heart warm. Thank you. Peter and 86 year old mom

So glad to see you back Becky 😊. This is the easiest bread recipe I’ve ever seen. Thank you for sharing God’s word always. ❤✝️

The other day I was thinking I need to start making homemade bread instead of store bought. I felt intimidated in making my own bread until I came across your video. Now I feel more relaxed and I know I can make my own bread at home. Thank you. I enjoy watching The Hillbilly Kitchen. Also, I Love The scriptures.
  • @itsthevk

  • @vger9942
I used to make some kind of bread everyday…sourdough, cornbread, beer bread. Haven’t done it it 20 years. I’m gonna start again. Thanks for this easy recipe!
  • @lizreynolds4554
    Yummy.
For our birthday, my Grandma would make us a loaf of bread,
Some fresh butter or apple butter. It was our birthday gift, that we didn't have to share! It was the BESTEST!
  • @termlimits6395
The "no knead" bread recipes that you provide are a joy to make.
  • @Heidi_Bradshaw
I made my first two loaves of peasant bread last week. Both went down a treat with myself and my daughter. My best friend popped round and she tried a bit and loved it! So earlier tonight, I made another two loaves and wrapped them and stuck them in the freezer, for when she visits again tomorrow, and I can give her the two loaves. Thankyou for such an easy and cheap recipe xx
  • @davidmadden9050
I have been ill for a few years, and am starting to come back, however my stamina is slagging still. Being able to make bread like this and not exhaust myself is a blessing. Thank you.
  • @julietteyork6293
Easy recipes like this are greatly appreciated. The kids will love it. God bless you.
Update: We made it and it’s as easy as you said. The kids ate the entire loaf in a few hours. I used 1 T honey, 1 egg lightly beaten, 1/2 c warm milk, 1/2 c warm water, 1 T melted butter.

They’re begging for another batch tomorrow! Our home is filled with the most delicious aroma.

With no one to cook and such while I'm doing all the other inside (I'm terrible) and outside stuff, this old man really appreciates this simple and quick recipe.
I appreciate a thousand fold more your sharing our Lord with others.
May He bless, protect and keep you and yours!!!
