  • I watch many YT sailings channels. I suppose YT got tired of feeding me the same ones and gave me yours today. Thank you, YT algorithm!

I'm so glad that you actually got the boat in the water! So many channels start out strong and then disappear before the boat is done, but you start out episode one going "Don't worry, we did that part already!" Love it
  • @1seanpost

Great story. We have also recently bought a boat in Fiji. We may see you around.
  • I bought my COVID boat in St Maarten in the Caribbean, thought it would take max three months, it took six! Sailed it across the Atlantic where so many systems failed got badly beaten up in a gale-storm with 40-50 knot winds and 5-7 meter seas on route from the Azores to Portugal. Two cracked and broken bulkheads, lost the dinghy, solar and stay sail. Now working in Porto to pay for the repairs. That is sea life ;)
  • Great vlog...........I wish you fair winds and gentle seas, enjoy every second of your adventure.

New subscriber from the Southern part of California, San Diego area. Grew up with a Dad who loved sailing and "flipping" old scows into a boat worth owning. Raced the Newport to Ensenada adventure over 17 times and had so much fun until skin cancers ended Dad's time on his boat. I follow many sailing channels here and have added yours today!

So glad I can be an early subscriber! My wife and I have about 11 months left before we make the move to sailing full-time ourselves... so it's gonna be fun to see what's in store for us by proxy! 😅
  • Welcome to the Corbin 39 family from YouTube channel Sailing vessel Reimagined. Nice video by the way 👍 Regards Robin & Scott
