These are my recommendations and experiences as a cozy WoW player of 20 years with a quick intro to the game added in, for the new players out there! Let me know if you have any questions or recommendations of your own to share. ✨

Also, I recently started WoW back up again after a few years off, so if there's any inaccurate information in the video, feel free to correct me! I'm a little rusty still. 🤭

"Level 7 for months and months" really caught me its really cool knowing people understands the game in a different way.

The game is what you make it. Not what some YouTubers or streamers say. I see people post there is no exploring in the game. That is on you, not the game. Tonight I had a blast running around collecting more pets for my Hunter and collecting flight paths in zones I had never been to. I didn't do one quest tonight.

I've been playing WoW for almost 20 years now, and did the raid guild harcore thing until I realized I had more fun exploring, collecting and especially in this last expansion, racing dragons. No guild, no peer pressure, I just play as I want. Great video!

Glad to see I am not the only one. I didn't do much multiplayer stuff, I mostly played solo and just liked going around doing quests and exploring various zones. I often started from scratch with other races and classes to just explore other zones and content.

Wow is such a cozy game for real!

I'm so happy to see more and more people talking about playing WOW in a Cozy Game Style. I always assumed that I was the odd one and called myself a CareBear in WOW, but I've recently found out there are quite a few players that play the way I do. One of the things I have always done (since Transmog became a thing) is to have a Transmog for each zone and sometimes for specific quests and as a Hunter tame a pet from the zone and try to have a matching battle pet companion.

You give the perfect examples to relax in the game, I myself love collecting mounts/transmogs and gathering up for my professions when I want to relax
  • I love the atmosphere of old Duskwood and Hillsbrad Foothills, if I could live there I would. Like the ongoing conflict along with the calm nature of the zones checks all of my boxes.

Love this!! I too feel like the first impression people have of WoW is heavy grinding, mythic+, raiding with the guild, but I've alwaysss enjoyed playing solo just exploring the world, doing quests and enjoying the lore, and it's great to see other players here who are the same. Thanks for the tips! Love the video.

Battle Pets are definitly a cozy collector game. Loved this video!
  • @vegains
loved that 🥰 that's exactly how I play too. Listening to music and just feeling safe and cozy in my body. It's like a fun meditation 💫
  • What I love about Warcraft is that it can be played both casually and hardcore. I just started playing again since Legion and I’m a little overwhelmed with how much has been added, but having so much fun at the same time!

As a sweaty grinder, I'm really glad players like you exist.
  • @sunpi
Ahh love your channel so much already

I love going from the high intensity dungeons and raids to leveling a lower level character. WoW really is just incredible at giving you a beautiful place to enjoy and crazy shit to do it’s just a great combo.

Me too, I'm still playing this game 20 years later. I'm done being a hardcore raider and I've never been much of a key pusher, but I do like logging in, questing, collecting stuff, exploring.

I got into WoW because of Warfraft3 and I remember playing in Azuremyst Isle and being so chill and peaceful, most zones have amazing OST. I no longer play WoW but I try to keep on track with the lore, really looking forward to the Worldsoul saga.

Cozy gaming! I play Cataclysm classic and it’s still relaxing to me when I’m just leveling
  • @mayrake
Nice video! WoW is indeed such a cosy game. The nostalgia and new expansion hype always draw me back to the game. I'm playing very on and off now, taking breaks for a few months to a year. Used to be a hardcore raider but ever since WoD I lost that spark for WoW, but whenever I got extra time, I return for some chill gameplay like you mention in your video: questing, professions, fishing in nice places, transmog runs and the trade post. :) I doubt the feelings and excitement I used to have playing WoW 15 years ago will ever return again :c but the classic tbc-wotlk servers were pretty nice for a little while :P

A while ago, I tried “free trial WoW” just to be able to play WoW again without dropping money on it since I figured I’d only play it for like a week then quit again. I actually had more fun just running through story quests for Vanilla areas at level 20 than playing DF’s end game. I told my brother in law about it and he eventually tried it himself and has been having fun with it too. I ended up re-subbing to the game and made a new character which hit 70, but low and behold I got so bored so quickly I almost quit again… Nowadays I play on the Classic servers and have been having fun again since they focus more on slower exploration than rushing you to end game. But give Free Trial WoW a shot, it’s actually pretty cool!
