Here it is, the announcement I know everyone has been waiting for ever since my pre-announcement. I am super excited to hear you guys' voices and meet you guys on the server! Who knows, I might drop some lore~
About the series:
The Tales of Xianshi is a Gacha Life Series made by me, Simply Kanae, using the Gacha Life 2 game. It's based on Chinese mythology, culture and traditions. The story follows a young swordswoman named Huanyue who goes on a journey to find the hidden meaning behind reality. This series is made to show love and nicely represent an amazing part of our world.
Requirements/Rules:
- Have Discord and be in the Audition Server
- No age requirement
- No use of AI in your auditions
- Little to no background noise
Other:
- Able to audition for other things other than character roles
- Every character will be cast 1 Main VA and 2 Backup VAs. Backup VAs will be able to claim to voice an Extra if there happens to be one in any of the scripts
- Able to hang out in the server to talk about the series, submit fanart, and more
- Able to recruit cast members for your own projects
- So many contests and cute server emojis of the Tales of Xianshi characters

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Can you audition for more than one character?
A: Yes! If you audition for more than one character, you will have a higher chance of being cast.
Q: Can I upload my audition to YouTube?
A: Yes, of course! As long as you're in the audition server.
Q: My audition isn't sending, why?
A: That might be because one of the moderation bots falsely flagged your audition as spam and would mistakenly delete it. If this happens, you can wait a while before attempting to send it in again, or you can send it directly to me, an admin or a moderator and we'll post it for you. Another probability is your audition being in the incorrect format. Usually mp3 and mp4's make it through, but other obscure file formats; not really.
Q: Can I redesign the characters?
A: No. I find it extremely disrespectful when any of my original characters have their design changed. The only exception to this rule is for fanart where characters might be wearing a different outfit.
