I’m so surprised how much music is changed by arrange. It is so exotic and stylish.

It just shows that Rick made that song his own! That's a sign of talent! Saying that it still sounds good! Stock, Aitken and Waterman are geniuses!!!!! Love it!!
  • I first heard the ORIGINAL being this GEM from O'chi in 1985 when I first saw the video on TV and I adored it, when Rick's was released later on most people thought it was a NEW track but I knew it was a cover. O'chi's is so BAD ASS cooooooool, Rick's not so much. Adore, SAW funk from this era was simply FLAWLESSSS!

This is a great track from very early in Stock Aitken Waterman career and perhaps an indication at how great they were about to become with so many hits.
  • Because I actually remember the original version and I Met Miss OCHI BROWN at 12 Inches Record Store on P Street Nw in Washington D C...I will love this one more...Rick Astleys version was meant for POP MUSIC elevation..so, yea today the Pop version will appeal to People who like the Polishes Pop version of an RnB Song...The Music Industry has ALWAYS practiced this...Nothing against Astley tho...The Man got some Vocals on Him..and I appreciated the remake..and I m 53 now to My 19 when this first came out..
  • Never heard of this till now . Wow just as good as ricks version beautiful gorgeous lady 😍❤️
  • No idea there was another version until today. This is awesome!

    アレンジ次第でこんなに変わるのか。いやびっくり。エキゾチックで格好いい。

I wonder how everyone feels if this song was number 1 in Europe and Rick was never discovered? Maybe we would have a different opinion! :-) Still this tune is funky! (sorry, correction it was number 1 in the US dance charts but 97 in the UK charts!)
