Street Fighter 2010 was released by Capcom for the NES in 1990 and is unlike any other in the series sending the Nerd into numerous fits regarding both timeline and continuity. Baffled and disappointed by the expectations of Capcom and the actual reality of 2010, the Nerd is even more perplexed by the gameplay style.

Glad we spent the decade cleaning up all those metallic sea sponges, rocket jock straps, headless parrots with bottle caps, and floating eyeballs trapped in glass lids! Good work everybody!

Crazy how accurately they predicted everything. Especially the eyeball guy. Remember how those guys were all over the place in 2010? I remember I fought an eyeball guy waiting in line for movie tickets.

My favorite AVGN moment of all time is in this episode. His mannerisms and the seriousness of his tone when he says "YOU PRESS DOWN TO SHOOT DIAGONALLY UP" cracks me up EVERY time and I say it on a daily basis for no reason.
