The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square perform "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing," a popular song for Choir performances and tours. Arranged by Mack Wilberg.

Lyrics:
Come, thou Fount of ev'ry blessing,
Tune my heart to sing thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above;
Praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it,
Mount of thy redeeming love.

Here I raise my Ebenezer,
Hither by thy help I'm come;
And I hope, by thy good pleasure,
safely to arrive at home.
Prone to wander Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for thy courts above.

Jesus sought me when a stranger,
wand'ring from the fold of God;
He, to rescue me from danger,
Interposed his precious blood.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for thy courts above.

O to grace how great a debtor
Daily I'm constrained to be!
Let thy goodness, like a fetter,
Bind my wand'ring heart to Thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here's my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for thy courts above,
Seal it for thy courts above.

    I'm Independent Fundamental Baptist and I often dream of singing in an enormous choir like this one. This can be considered a tiny taste of what's to come one day in Heaven for those who have trusted in Christ!

    I'm a Catholic & in my childhood years (80 yrs) ago I can still hear the beautiful voices of the nuns, my teachers. The Tabernackle Choir beautiful & wonderful to listen to. Thank you. I wish the said Choir's music could be played over the air on our radios and or one of our TV channels. It would make life worth while & something to look forward to hearing.

    I am a Mormon who struggles with mental illness. Whenever I feel as if I may lose it or just want to scream, songs like this one- especially this one, as it is my favorite- calm me down and help me breathe again. A good cry, a reminder that I am loved and back to dealing with life and motherhood!

    Hey, let's not forget how incredible the orchestra was. They were less of an accompaniment to the choir and more a duet partner. Absolutely beautiful!

    I was raised as a Catholic yet the music of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir was heard throughout the year at our home. No other choir moves me quite like this one. I cannot count the number of times I have clicked on the timeless music of this choir and have found myself in tears == as I am right now. There is a deep and abiding spirituality at work in the way that this choir touches hearts and souls.

    I am 84 now. A member for 52 years and my wife and I have been married 65 years. She is an invalid in the nursing home for 7-1/2 years with Alzheimer's disease, has to be fed poured food , we were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1972. What a joy it is to know our Savior Jesus Christ and be a member of His Restored Church with the Fullness of the Gospel. I tell her daily that we will be together forever.
  • The best version I have ever heard of this song. Sounds like a piece of heaven...
  • I was raised a Jehovah’s Witness and I think this is so pure and beautiful, we all serve the same God and this really makes me feel more connected with those who share this faith
  • I would become a Mormon just to be part of this wonderful ensemble !
  • Doesn’t matter how dark or deep the spiritual hole I’m in, this song, sung this way by our Tabernacle Choir, always gets me out! I’m so grateful!
