Fly DJI MINI 4 PRO with FPV GOGGLES 3 and DJI RC 2 - The Perfect Combo

For those who like me have the mini 3 pro, goggles 2, RC (not pro) you can fly without the motion 2 controller. Just take off before switching on the goggles. The functions are limited though (thanks DJI ! 😡). You can record video via the goggles screen pull down menu. The motion controller 2 is fun for flying low around obstacles etc, but the RC is way better for everything else. I hope DJI will release an update for the above, as many of us can’t afford to continually spend £1000 upgrading every 12 months. Good video s always 👍🏻

I have been using the googles 3 with my mini 4 and i absolutely love it the flying experience is so much more exciting than watching the screen.. Hopefully the future updates or new releases start coming out with the goggles and added features..

Couldn't agree more... love my Mini 4 Pro with the Goggles 3, but I also really appreciate the RC Motion 3 for control. It gives you so many additional options, but I really wish they would bring the tracking and quick/master shots features to the Goggles/RC Motion 3 combo. I found that I could get much more dynamic videos once I got the hang of using head tracking with the motion controller... once you have your head/hand coordination down, you can get some amazing tracking shots with much more dynamic camera motion than the RC 2 allows.

I have been waiting for this combo for a while thank you for this video. I’m really curious if can you still use the c1 or c2 button for the aux light at the bottom of the drone

Great video Darren, im looking forward to your vegas ones, you showed a quick one flying your drone by the Hollywood sign which really impresed me, i always wanted to do that, I just thought that area was restricted with drones, im assuming you got special permission, either way great video

Great video as always! Have you tried " find my drone"? How do you use it with this setup? Maybe just turn off googles and use the controller? I've ordered the googles, just thinking ahead. Can't find anything on this topic

Is this also possible for the DJI Integra goggles?

Can you fly the mini 4 with the RC2 and someone else where the googles and see the fvp of the mini while the controller user sees the screen?

I did get a matte screen protector for my RC 2 controller to make it easier to see the screen. As far as I can tell it just doesn’t work that well on cloudy days. Haven’t tested it in Sunny days yet

Is the OTG no longer required between the Goggles 3 and Mobile Device?

Can you put the camera in vertical portrait mode while using the goggles 3 with rc controller!?

Hello. I tested the Mini 4 pro with the Goggles 3 and there are so many options missing....The vertical shooting switch and master shots are mandatory... but it's missing... it was a nice experience but the lack of features made me go back to the remote screen. Thanks for the review.
