One Hour | Two Steps From Hell - Star Sky

I'm an old lady now, but listening to this, I feel strong, filled with youth, my heart beats fast, empowered by the magic of this specific tune! An hour of strength and courage, inspiration to fill my day with the power of music, youth and a soul soaring higher than it did when young!!! God it's great to be alive!!! Thank you for the appreciation!

The lyrics tell a sad but also good story.
"You and I, mirrors of light" mirrors represents how one person (we'll call her Person A, and their lover, who is at war were similar and perfect for each other.
"Lit in another time and place" This one kind of confuses me but from what I think, it means they started loving each other during a time of peace, when things were different.
"I knew your name. I knew your face. Your love and grace." This represents how Person A knew Person B so well.
"Unstoppable, the song we play." The song they play is love. Love is unstoppable and can surpass everything else, even the will to live, as we see later on. Now moving on to the next part, this is sung by Person B, who I'm guessing died in combat.
"Burn the page for me." This means to forget about me. Burn the page full of everything you know and love about me. Might also have something to do with the Chinese tradition of burning paper as an offering for the dead.
"I cannot erase the time of sleep." One thing that is more powerful than love, is death. Nobody can erase death. Death happens to everyone.
"I cannot be loved so set me free" Forget about me since I can't be loved. I'm not on this world anymore.
"I cannot deliver your love." I cannot love or be loved, so set me free and forget about me.
"Or caress your soul so." Same thing as before.
"Turn that page for me." Start a new life. Love someone else. Turn the page of this part of our lives and turn to a new one.
"I cannot embrace the touch that you give.
I cannot find solace in your words.
I cannot deliver you your love.
Or caress your soul." All of this is same as before. Now moving on to Person A.
"Age to age.
I feel the call." I grouped these together because they support each other. Age to age means I'm aging and getting older. I feel the call means I feel the call of death. I'm not going to live for much longer.
"Memory of future dreams." I think this means remembering the past and knowing it'll happen again when you reunite in the afterlife.
"You and I, riding the sky.
Keeping the fire bright
From another time and place." These 3 lines are pretty much the same as the start. They represent how soon, the lovers will be reunited and they will relive some of their memories.

Forever on a song we play" Again, most of the lines are the same. All of time cannot erase means I'll never forget you, even after an eternity. No amount of time can erase my memory of you. That's how strong love is. What our hearts remember stays is the same as before. Forever on a song we play means we'll never stop loving each other. The next few lines are the same.

Summary: Two people love each other but one goes to war and dies. He tries to tell his lover not to love him and to find someone else but she never will. She knows she will die soon so she embraces the fact that they will have a reunion soon.
