Even the cheapest T-shirt from a family store will be transformed beyond recognition.
- The first thing to do is cut off the elastic at the neck.
- Next you will need pieces of fabric that can decorate the T-shirt. If you have the same knitwear, it will be an excellent material to work with. If not, then any other fabric will do, even with a pattern.
- I measured the neckline, its length is 60 cm. I sewed a stabilizing stitch along the edge.
- On a piece of paper I drew a detail that resembles a bow; if you fold it in half, the narrow side is 1 cm, and the wide bottom is 2.5 cm.
- Thus, you will need 24 pieces.
- I folded the knitwear (I have the same one as the T-shirt) in half and stitched it along the outline of the pattern.
- Then I turned all the parts right side out.
- Where there is 1 cm, I sewed a line at a distance of 0.5 cm from the edge. The end and beginning of the stitching was fixed with a point tack (this is when the machine makes several movements in one place).
- I stitched the blanks to the neck. Each part overlaps each other slightly so that when unfolded the parts only touch.
- Now you will need a thin rubber band and beads.
- I threaded an elastic band into each piece and strung a bead between them. At the end, I tied the elastic band into a knot and hid it under a decorative element.
Ready.

2) You can decorate T-shirts in different ways. For this you will need additional materials. These can be beads, lace, sequins, appliqués, rhinestones, pieces of beautiful fabric... Sometimes you can cut knitwear and make a certain design from the cuts.
For my work, I will need nylon tape, 4 cm wide. It is this airy material that will give the T-shirt chic and femininity. The tape is weightless, light, and after washing it will puff up like new. I bought 8 meters.
The craft store has a huge selection of different ribbons. Color and quality for every taste, so you can decorate a plain T-shirt in any shade.
I will collect roses from this braid.
How to do:
- The T-shirt will have two lush roses and ruffles. To do this, you will need two pieces of 4 meters (as a result, it took less, I cut off the excess).
- On a sewing machine, with a 4 mm line, I laid a stitch along the entire length and assembled it into gathers. The cut edges of the nylon were singed with a burning match.
- Now I began to twist the assembled ribbon in a circle. Each turn was secured manually with a needle and thread. Roses can be made to any size if desired. Part of the ribbon was left unsewn.
- I put on a T-shirt and tried it on, using needles and beads to secure the decor on the T-shirt in the places I liked, this can be done in different ways.
- I sewed the decor by hand using simple stitches. You need to make sure that the seam is not pulled.
Ready!
The whole job didn't take much time. An hour and a half to two hours, and I have a new luxurious piece of clothing that looks decent for any event.
3) If you want a new fashionable item, you don’t have to buy it, you can remake what you have. It is good to conduct such experiments on old T-shirts. The easiest way is to sew on an applique.
For my transformation I will need another fabric, I will combine it. There is just a suitable light checkered skirt that I don’t wear.
- First you need to make the neck more open. I made a triangular cutout at the front. The T-shirt immediately began to look better, the sporty style disappeared. In order not to make a mistake, you need to try on the T-shirt and mark the depth of the neckline on yourself, then cut it.
- I also made a triangular cutout at the back, but a little narrower to sew on the ribbon.
- I shortened the bottom of the T-shirt, making curves on the sides.
- You need to make a flounce out of fabric, assemble it and sew it on. The bottom of my skirt was processed and this made my work easier. The flounce at the sides was made a little shorter.
- I used thin cotton to process the neckline. I cut out a facing from it according to the shape of the neckline. I basted all the seams by hand, as the knitwear is elastic and curls.
You need to make sure that the T-shirt does not stretch where the seams are laid.
For the stitches, I replaced the ordinary needle on the sewing machine with a special one for knitwear.
- I cut out strips from checkered fabric, folded them lengthwise, stitched them, and turned them inside out. I got some ties and sewed them to the back of the neck. I basted the facing and stitched it on. I turned it inside out and made a stitch.
- I also treated the front part of the neck.
- I tied a bow at the back.
Now it looks more like a blouse.

мне одной кажется, что футболку надо было оставить футболкой, тем более неизвестно из какого она трикотажа, через 3 стирки скатается или растянется и вся работа коту под хвост, а если уж нравится такое "великолепие" из бантиков и бусинок, лучше купить кусок хорошей ткани и сшить из нее?

и извините меня конечно, но из дешевых футболок, как их не переделывай, дорогие вещи не получатся, купите отрез ткани, сшейте то, что хочется, будет выглядеть дороже и намного достойней

На какой то момент мне показалась эта идея трудоемкой и бесполезной, но я вспомнила про футболки фирмы Гарант(Узбекистан). Они настолько хороши, что я ношу годами(на работе). Они не растягиваются, не тускнеют и у них прошиты плечи, что не дает изделию потерять форму. Единственный недостаток -это, в основном, однотонные расцветки. Брала я их в смешных ценах в Москве по 360р. Почему бы не воплотить такие идеи в жизнь, зная что футболка прослужит не один год. Однозначно 👍

Здесь и не говорят, что из дешёвой сделают дорогую. Дело не в этом. Дешёвая футболка - это основа для творчества. Вот мне , например, не идут такие мвленькие круглые вырезы горловины и длинные футболки. Я делаю декольте, отрезаю низ, обрезаю рукавчики покороче, и всё это обрабатываю частым зигзазом. Из футболки получается симпатичная женственная кофточка. Причём, зигзаг немного волнится, и это смотрится как дополнительное украшение. Дёшево или дорого... главное, чтобы вещь на тебе заиграла. Можно надеть дорогущее платье( прямо с подиума), а оно пойдёт тебе, как корове седло. А можно и в халатике выглядеть красиво.

Молодец!! Очень оригинально! Для тех, кто не понял-по времени естественно, монтаж!!! Каждый труд требует времени, за 5 минут можно только шнурки погладить!
