Meshuggah - In Death Is Death, 6 String, Guitar Rig 3

Playing part of Meshuggah's "In Death Is Death" with usual little mistakes now and then included. I'm using my 6 string Aria Pro series 2... For those asking yourself how?No, i didn't put bass strings on my guitar. :) I'm using a program called Guitar Rig 3 and with it i can use a pitch pedal to easily drop it to an Fsharp. So if any of you out there wanna play Meshuggah and don't want to purchase a 7 or 8 string guitar... Guitar Rig is your savior... (of course it takes a bit of tweaking but its fairly simple to do) cheers.

@FreakMarius Thanks dude! Its an Aria pro series 2 an i used a program called guitar rig 3 to drop down tuning... I would love to do other covers in the future and i hope Koloss will kick my ass like all of Meshuggah's album's ;) You have so many great bands in Sweden bro!!

@moreoreos123 This one is a Pro series 2 and its also the first electric guitar i ever got. The paint does come off and its not very well designed. But i still like the pick-ups regardless of how the cheap the guitar is, and the color...the color!!

Thank you well you have to install asio4all and use that as main soundcard, should work fine.

@iwuedqw Sorry that preset is long gone:( JUst use a metal preset that you have and play around with the pitch pedal in components i think... Guitar rig 4 doesn't have the pitch pedal so don't bother looking in that one.

love the cover dude..the link for guitar rig 3 i used worked fine but when i try to open the audio and midi settings it jst doesnt open,so i cant change any settings and i dont get any sound..if u know something about it pls let me know, really wanna use this software.

i have asio4all but how do i use it as the main sound card when i cant open the audio and midi settings in the file section of guitar rig??

I have no idea how to get this product to work, it just asks me for a serial number, which I don't have anywhere :(

@acudeath Sorry, use pitch pedal to lower tuning that's all.

hey bro, do they sell a pedal like that you use on your programto drop a 6 string to f#???(reply please) or does it not exist because thats what ive always thought of making someday instead of buying an 8 string

umm? Did you copy cracked files to install directory before launching? If not then it will ask you for serial.

When u first launch GR3, the menu will pop up by itself, i suggest re-installing and set Asio 4 all. If not then it might be the fact that your using windows 7. I use XP but you can always download GR4 which works on win 7.

Is that aria guitar any good? I got one for my first guitar ever, and the thing literally fell apart. The paint was put on so poorly it like crumpled off ridiculously easy and everything on it just seemed to be put together poorly. Of course, it wasn't an expensive model, it was in like 250-300 dollar price range but still, I could have got much better for the money. It's a shame because it was a nice looking guitar
