  • There’s something ancient about how crickets make us feel peaceful, safe. We use them as a warning device. As long as crickets chirp, no predators are moving in the darkness hence we’re safe, peaceful

When I was little, I thought that it was the twinkling stars that made that chirping noise!
  • Is no one going to talk about no ads on this one? Props to the guy for not putting any and made us fall asleep..

The second night after I ran away from the orphanage I wound up in a place like this....I was only 11. The family that found me raised me like their own for 8 years until I joined the military. I'm an old man now but my memory is excellent....... Lillian and Gail..... your efforts were not in vain ❤. Thanks for this. It takes me right back to that porch where Gail is telling me that it's hard to keep a person down when they believe in themselves and what they are doing.
  • To anybody who’s reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind right now. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life.

Crickets... Such an underrated insect. It gives you peace and relaxation without you even seeing them.
  • I grew up on a lake in the 70's and 80's. This is how i remember falling asleep. A full day in and on the water...shower...dinner and we were ready for bed. Windows open, moonlight peeking thru the curtains that are slightly blowing around and these sounds!! Best times of my childhood and into my teens!! The occasional sound of water moving around is all that this is missing. Sweet Dreams everyone💫. Oh how I miss my Indiana home!!

It is my dream to have a house someday and just like this sit back and relax in the front of the house in the middle of the night and just stare at the stars listening to crickets
  • Just 30 seconds in and I feel like crying. The sounds took me back to my childhood. When I was just a kid with no worries in this world. Having my family around and everything was beautiful. I miss them and myself from that time 😢
  • I've always loved the night sounds of the forest, frogs, crickets, and things, it reminds me of home and my childhood.
  • My baby's 6 months old, this has been her music every night since she's been born. Thank you ♡

I literally have not been able to sleep since my father passed(8months ago), until this. I listen to this everynight, I am so happy I found this! ❤️❤️

I wish all of social media was like this. Just beautiful people being kind to eachother. There is something magical in this space. ❤❤❤❤❤
  • Crickets have befriended me. After a really bad surgery that was excruciating requiring me to sleep upright for 3 months, lonely i was, a cricket would come in my room every night and sing to me. It started at the doorway, would stop and moving in a clockwise direction it sing at the corners and then finish the finale at the door again. Lasted about 3 to 4 hours every night for at least 3 months. I don't harm crickets.
  • hey to you reading this 😊 whatever brings you here, whether it's to fall asleep or to relax from something stressful, i just wanted to let you know that everything will be fine. If you're going through a hard time right now, it's okay to remind yourself that this is temporary, and there are many good and relaxing days to come. You are an amazing person and the world is lucky to have someone like you in it. I hope only good things, love and strength will come your way. :) <3

When it's summer vacation and you go to bed tired after a long day of playing outside as a kid..
  • The sounds of crickets are what I remember in the yard at my great aunt's house when I was growing up. This relaxes me, and takes me back to simpler times, falling asleep on the front porch swing, just minus the mosquitoes. Thank you Jason!
  • Helps me overcome the agony of not being able to sleep because of my tinnitus. Now my brain thinks it's listening to something soothing outside instead of something annoying inside. Thanks!

How mesmerizing. I wish was sitting there on a rock, gazing at the moon through the fog in deep solitude and complete peace.
