As cute as these videos are, they are unusually everywhere like those faux Primitive Technology channels. These hamsters basically go through traumatic mazes for OUR entertainment. People fall for it like a charm..

I love mazes for hamsters, and for one hand your creativity is cool but by other hand there are parts that don't make me feel great about what situation are doing with the hamster.

I get you're probably exercising the hamster, but it did seem stressful for it at times. Especially like the shaking and the speed of some of the traps and height of some of the falls. It concerned me. Be it ,the course was highly creative, but also where was the reward? Like, treats. Also couldn't tell if the squeaks were edited in, but plz don't.

I think in the future, the swinging hammers and pipe cleaner spikes should be removed; you should avoid using models that resemble natural predators; that pit with the skull should be more shallow and with a little more cush; and the speed of the conveyors should be less. It's awesome seeing such an intellectually stimulating maze for a pet that's normally just put in a cage its entire life, but we don't want to accidentally hurt or overstress the little guys.
