Zane is one of the most kind and genuine interviewers out there I dont even have or use Apple products but his care for music and the artist is immaculate and I'm glad he's on here.

The discussion about turning the car around towards a new direction hit home for me. The most meaningful advice I have received recently is to "Never work for someone you don't want to become". I just left a very prestigious PhD program and am transferring to another one. I found a program where the research focus is more closely tied to what I'm interested in, a lab culture that is more attuned to my needs, and I get along with the boss much better.

I've come to realize that the key to amassing wealth lies in making sound investments. I purchased my first home at the age of 21 for $87,000 and sold it for $197,000. My second home, acquired for $170,000, was later sold for $320,000, and my third property, purchased at $300,000, fetched $589,000, with buyers covering all closing costs and expenses. Not reaching a million before retirement feels like an unfulfilled goal.-..

YOU KNOW HOW I LOVE THAT ZANE PRESENTS THERAPY AS A COMFORTING POSITIVE FREEING THING. Not like Oh I’m traumatized I am crazy I am struggling. Opposite. I feel like he feels that no matter what he is ok by default but he wants his life to be better. It’s so inspiring thank you
  • A beautiful conversation. Love how Zane still gets to ask questions cos he's just so curious about people. I got to DJ alongside him a few times back in the day and am still a huge fan.

Thank you so much Jay. Zane Lowe is such a brilliant interviewer and I admire his way to be able to allow space for vulnerability and honesty in such a "glossy" industry. Two of my fave interviewers together is such a treat 💖💖

My very first concert was Split Enz and was truly taken aback and if I could describe it as articulately as you did Zane, I would agree with exactly as you put it. Effected me more than I couldve imagined. Great interview guys, loved it 💓
