I recommend the Troy trilogy by David Gemmell for anyone interested in a retelling of the epic. One of my favourite trilogies that I wish more people were aware of. It is largely from the perspective of Aeneas, but also from all the other players Odysseus, Hector, Achilles, Andromache, and Mykene soldiers. It would make for a fantastic TV series
