Season 4 makes it even more clear. Just look how he acts towards Nancy compared to robin. Two totally different ways of behaviour. Towards Nancy he acts a bit awkward and shy, because he tries to hold back his feelings, because she is still taken. But with Robin he is outspoken because he has literally NO feelings to hide! You don't have to be a psychologist to figure out what is going on between the lines lol.
