Kullervo mains, two handed nikana heavy attacks guaranteed lift enemies. Put melee adffliction on Azothane, chuck on melee elementalist, and enjoy 6 nuclear slash procs on your enemies. Whatever you just heavy attacked with your 1 WILL die
  • @ThunderChoco
The sampotes when you slam the waves can trigger the arcane multiple times on the same enemy so you can say use Garuda to apply slash light slam and you will apply the arcane 3-4 times on the enemy
  • @Kannibole
quick note, not only does affliction proc on overguard, but it can generally on cc immune targets (under certain conditions, like status proc and forced cc proc on same hit, as on heavy attack scythes for example), thats why it can even be used to kill demolishers (showcased by dystopia, and they also explained all the quirks of the arcane)
  • New sub right here. Dropped warframe for 8 years and came and restarted. Thank you so much!!!!
  • Cool I have this arcane already maxed out just as a byproduct from farming for all the other stuff. I’ll have to try it out!
  • @beseakos
I know you made a mention of tonfas already but the telos boltace is an incredibly good pairing with the arcane, since its passive groups and then knocks the enemies down with consecutive slide attacks. It’s a match made in heaven.

Thx for the video, hope you are doing better

Some things to note about this video: If you're using Tennokai, remember that it's a kind of heavy attack that has its own wind-up speed. Amalgam Organ Shatter does nothing to accelerate that wind-up because it's already faster and doesn't scale with mods, so you might as well use regular Organ Shatter since it costs less and it gives slightly more damage. Weapons that either have innate electricity (Ceti Lacera, Prisma Ohma, Kuva and Tenet weapons with Electric progenitor for example) or that can somehow guarantee an electric proc with a Special ability or even slam attacks/stuff like that (like the Korumm and Arca Titron) will most likely be way better with Melee influence. Regarding melee builds, you most likely either run Sacrificial Steel or Blood Rush, unless the weapon you're using has insane crit chance and you want to go for higher tier of crits if they let you do that. Anyway, this is a great informational video. It's also easier to obtain Melee Afflictions compared to Melee Influence assuming you just finished The New War quest so it's actually really useful. What about Staves by the way? I thought they were great at ragdolling enemies around, but maybe that's because they primarily deal impact damage and I don't know if they count for Afflictions.

I finally got my hate last night! And while unnattentedly going into BotB in SP solo because I wasn't paying attention when everyone in the random group left 😂 got it built now so hopefully I can try this out with it tonight 😊

Don't sleep on fists for afflictions. Furax Wraith incarnon with the Seismic Palm stance neutral combo rag dolls enemies and it very effective with the perk that turns impact into slash damage
  • @mumphies2145
Cyclone Kraken has the fist hit of the block combo lift enemies so you can use melee afflictions with something like the Prova Vandal, Machete Wraith, Nami Solo, or Slaytra
  • @vaxui
using wukong 2 and spamming the heavy slam with hammers makes the game a lot more fun to me. Melee afflictions just makes it even more crazier
  • @shaydetert7
From what I've tested certain frames can hold enemies while they still gain the lifted and knockdown effects. Although the enemies die to quickly for me to verify. But nezha(especially with his 4th augment) and zephyr's 4th

Melee afflictions works great with Harmony since it has force knockdown on heavy attack. It works even on enemies immune to knockdowns such as Thrax and Demolysts. Thanks to Harmony's passive that makes dot deal all the dmg in one instance of dmg on heavy attack, pairing it with melee afflictions and some status duration mods you can reach dmg cap on every enemy in game. Note: you will need to hit a headshot for this to work (yes you can headshot with melee)
  • i'm gonna run ascension for to max out melee afflictions and the new mods as well as arcane energize
  • Try Tranquil Cleave standing block attack with a high status nikana prime build. The damage is just stupidly op.
  • Here is something I figured out guess what also procs melee affliction with a lift state affect, using a zaw with exodia epidemic and no need for a specific stance
  • @jankevinopiana
Hi nood question. I have Okina prime and I don’t know how can i add arcane slot to it.. please help 😢

Of all weapons, somehow Dual Daggers are the ones that made out best with Afflictions. Dual Dagger heavys have 2 simultanious hits which both inflict forced slash and knock down. This results in even the Fang Prime being able to inflict 14 slash procs in a single heavy, with 80% follow through on top of a VERY generous hitbox for both hits. The result with a standard pure heavy attack (no combo) build is an average of 500k dps bleed procs being applied to the main target. Combine with a sentinel that has contagious bond and a heat modded weapon to cause cascading death. NOTE! To make this work, allow your companion to apply heat procs to an eximus unit THAT YOU CANNOT ONE SHOT, then heavy attack them. Sit back and watch for a moment, begin again.
