Thank you for unintentionally creating a unified vocal community in the comments section. I literally see no disagreement.
  • I keep switching octaves when it gets too high or too low! πŸ˜‚
  • @jubileepabon505
I've been doing these exercises about 4-6 times a week since January 1. When I first started, I could only do exercise 1 on 0.75x speed. 😭 Today, I am currently doing it at 1.5x speed! You guys, these exercises REALLY DO work! Stay committed, don't give up on your dream of being a singer... I'm so glad I didn't ❀πŸ₯²

Everyone, these are great practise videos, but be sure to really: don't push it, the range here is spread very widely and not each note is for everyone - move it an octave lower, when it becomes hurtful or check, wether you can loosen up your bodies or decrease volume, sometimes changing the vowel can help, like a falsetto "huuu" for higher notes, change back to the proposed sound, when the range is comfortable, again. Vocal health requires gentleness - there are a lot of videos for this, for example by "Dr. Dan", he gives great advice and is specific and detailed on how to do the exercises. If you are gentle with your voice, these videos here are great. But really remember: don't strain! <3 And thank you Jacobs Vocal Academy for providing these!
  • @Amphibey0nd
I’m a vocal performance major in college and my teachers showed me these videos, and they’re always part of my daily warmup routines. Just got some singing straws so I can amp up the challenge even more

I have been using your videos for a month now and I’ve noticed a great improvement in voice even though I lost my singing abilities at puberty. Thank you so much for sharing these lessons for free!
  • I love your no nonsense straight to the exercises approach. This was awesome!
