Let me just summarize all of my thoughts in one description, since I got too distracted to say everything I wanted to.This channel, since the very first video, has always been "low priority". Between life, going to university and a combination of laziness, standards and possbily undiagnosed quirks in my brain, I was satisfied with what I thought my future would be and keeping the channel on a "whenever I feel like it" schedule. That has changed as I've changed over the years.
Making YouTube content is my only creative/self-expression outlet at the moment, which is something I never thought I wanted or needed until recently, so I want to start taking it more seriously on that basis. I would be happy if it became something people wanted to watch, even more so if I could make a living off of it, but that's all hypothetical right now. I have said in the past that I don't want to monetize the channel, but I might have to retract that; the Gabriel that said that is not the one writing this now.
As circumstances allow, I would like to upload or stream something here at least once a week and continue to develop my skills. "Rebranding" to a PNGtuber/Vtuber is part of that; I plan on iterating upon my avatar between uploads until it becomes something I like, and adding a face to the channel is something I've wanted to do from the very start, though I could never bring myself to use my own face. That profile picture and banner are getting changed too, but not for some time.
