Best Movie. I remember seeing this on TV as a kid

"He didn't make it and neither do you." Probably not the best time to say that.

I was working overnights at a convenience store in the Texas Hill Country. One night two guys come in. One is tall with a beat up cowboy hat and a leather patch over his left eye. Cowboy dress shirt, clean jeans and old boots. His friend wore a hat with "Stunt Mans Association Retired" embroidered on the front. Nice Polo shirt and slacks. I asked the second man about his hat. "How do you get a hat like that?". "Easy. You break a lot of bones". That man was Bill Hart. He's one of the body guards on the boat going through Downtown San Antonio.with Steve McQueen and corrupt business man. Saw him once in awhile for years. He started out as a rodeo competitor. He was offered a steady job in Hollywood. Did movies and TV for many years.

I Loved S.M. Movies with a Happy Ending. (smile)

Good old Sam Peckinpah, always delivering your daily dose of of vitamine violence.

This film should have never been remade. Bo Hopkins reprises his role as the agent of Murphy's Law.

The slapping part wasn't even in the script McQ improvised that to great effect.

The first of McQueen's last trifecta......after that...well, we all know how it wound up for Steve

Sam drank himself to death.They wouldn't allow him to make the movies the way he wanted to.

To much scene cutting destroyed this excellent movie. What's the topic of uploading such a mess? 🤮
