I am a 60++ old woman that absolutely loves to watch you! While watching this video I have decided that for my 2 daughters birthday I am going to make a bunch of freezer meals & meal packs. They have such a full schedule with all of the kids activities & working full time. I always struggle with what to get them & I think this would be a gift that keeps on giving. Thanks for the inspiration.
  • @seasquidney
My boyfriend and I were both feeling too sick and exhausted the other night to cook. We were so close to ordering takout. But then I remembered I had followed your advice the last time I made lasagna... I had doubled the recipe and froze one! So we were able to have a wonderful homecooked meal instead! Thank you for always giving us amazing ideas, Becky. 🥰
  • As a 36 year old male, I would like to inform that this is how you capture my attention. No intro, no bs. Just straight to the point. I'm 16 seconds in and I already gave you a thumbs up. The fact that you are speaking fast and to the point, and standing there with a frickin' script fills me with hope! You seem to know your shit. Gonna skim through it now, then come back for my favorites! I need something new for my kids! Thanks for this!
  • Dude. You are the real deal. You're one of those increasingly rare home cooks with the skill to prepare a banquet on two days notice. My mom was like that in her prime. Multiple dishes all made from scratch in 30 hours, and everything was delicious and ready right on time. I get tired making one lasagna. Respect to you both.

I really love and appreciate that you keep the accidents, messes and spills that happen to ALL of us and not edit them out. Thanks for keeping it real! This video was absolutely A-mazing! So many great recipes and I love that you included the prep that you did the day ahead to keep super organized on cooking/assembling day. Great work 🌷

This could have easily been 2 hours longer and I would have watched every minute. I absolutely love the rich, almost decadent way you cook, Every recipe looks like you feel your family is special and want them to enjoy your food. There are a number of creators on youtube teaching how to cook once and eat all month, and I wouldn't feed that food to my dog. Just mountains of cans poured into tinfoil buckets. All of your recipes look like company is coming, and I want more. You are a desperately needed breath of fresh air. Take your time, we'll be here for every minute taking notes.

AMEN, sister! I love to cook double recipes so I dont have to cook every night. During the pandemic, my big meals were probably a lifesaver for elderly neighbors. Dropping off a hot meal kept them from going shopping in high risk urban stores
  • I’m 70+ and I am exhausted watching you cook these great meals, I love your videos, you are such a good person
  • @peronne17
Could you make a video where you thaw/cook all the freezer meals and talk about how you decide to cook each one? I have a freezer full of meals that I made for postpartum, and now the baby is here and I'm a little stumped on the best way to handle it. A compilation video about this would be so handy!
  • Most home cooks who love to cook say they can only enjoy it when they have time. I'm 100% in agreement! No one loves "forced" cooking when time is limited and you've got to get a meal on the table. I enjoy watching and learning from your planning, prep and practice!
  • Im sick with covid in the hospital right now, and watching you cook is making me feel a lot less lonely because it makes me feel like im in the kitchen helping my mom make freezer meals like I used to as a kid! You give off such positive vibes, and im getting a lot of inspo for meals to make and freeze when I get back home.

Great video. I am a mother of 4 boys who I raised alone, so also had to work. I also put a full day aside for cooking freezer meals and filled the upright freezer. Often getting home from work too exhausted to cook, so the frozen meals were a blessing. Also, because we lived near the beach, I could spend the extra time to take the boys to the beach after work. A great way to cook. 👍👍❤️

Your debate with yourself about cleaning up the dropped wine cracked me up and then the spilled sauce - I felt that in my soul. LOL Sometimes you gotta laugh or you'll cry. The recipes look amazing as usual! ♥
  • @breannahorton
I'm single/live alone, and I absolutely love freezer meals! For anyone worried about how much food is made/trying to eat it all skip the normal baking dishes and get the freezer/oven safe glass dishes made for leftovers/lunches. I make a standard or double recipe, say for enchiladas, and instead of getting a full 9x12 pan I have to eat for a week I get 4 dishes of 3 enchiladas for the freezer, and 1 of 4 to eat fresh.

I just started down the meal prep rabbit hole a few days ago I found a few other channels that I liked a am going to follow but after finding this video I think your style of cooking is more like what I would enjoy like the cleaning before and during I hated cooking in my kitchen it was cluttered and it's pretty dark in there because there's now windows (suck I know lol) but I added a few lights I got from dollar tree and have been organizing the last few days for today which was my first prep day its been slow starting (mostly because I messed up the beans and was about to lose motivation) but as I kept with it I enjoyed it and having food done not just for the day but the whole week possibly month is an amazing feeling...I had been in a bad depression and my house was and is still in some parts a mess but I've been doing everything to get out of it and I am for the most part my physical illness is still there but my mental one is leaving thankfully lol... any way but this video and ones like them have definitely help by making my life way easier...I honestly didn't know it could be this easy and I never thought I would enjoy life or cooking again but here I am one day at a time... Sorry for that long story it's all fresh for me so I feel like sharing and shouting from the roof tops that I'm not depressed...I hope this help and inspired someone like this video has for me😁
  • I’m not done watching but your exactly what I’m looking for. Clean, from scratch, home grown when available…it’s nice to see someone so young have her stuff together enough to teach others! It’s not intimidating if you learn a skill at a time and build on that. I couldn’t raise chickens but I may try again
  • @amandaverbeke42
A tip that I got from my Grandma is with ziploc bags (or any other brand), use a jar or a glass, put the bag inside of it , turn the bag over the opening so the bag won't flop over on you. I hope that made sense! Thank you for being real. I just subscribed! Have a great weekend! 😊
  • @heatherbare3198
At our homestead we've gotten to the point where if I say to my husband "Becky made this" or "Becky said that" he knows exactly whom I'm speaking of. 😁 I LOVE these videos! How you add "glugs" and make things up on the fly.❤ Your chicken and a biscuit recipe is now a go to and must have in our house. Thank you Becky!
  • @gracie2375
You totally rock Becky! You crack me up with your remarks and your genuine behaviors, like when you broke the fridge side drawer and had a bad spill on the floor. That blesses me so much to watch, I am the "calamity jane" of the kitchen and often feel horrible when I drop, break or make horrible messes when cooking. Thank you for being real. I hope you get millions of views. You have the best cooking show on Youtube. Serious.
