If only we insert our ps2 discs into the ps5.

It's not "backwards compatability" if you can't put your PS2 disc into the PS5 and have it play from that (whether natively or as a key to download the store version). If its just Sony putting old games on the store, that's not "backwards compatible", that's just re-releasing old games. No shade to anyone reporting on this, im just sayin, I don't know if they are planning to allow PS2 discs as a key to download these releases, but that's what they should do if they are claiming its about backwards compatibility.

I actually fixed my childhood ps2 like 2 years ago and it was a blast playing the old god of war games and other games from my childhood Ready for more classics

I still have my day1 PS2 in the box. me and two other Homies stayed out in line at Best Buy from 8 o’clock at night to 8 o’clock in the morning for that system … Would never forget it that was experience. It was a party the whole night.

Really wish I could just put a ps2 disc into my ps5 and play it. 😢

Still have my ps2, 3, and 4. I want socom to come back with servers! Bring the game back to life, Sony! I still play Socom 2 online on PC with a community about 100 ppl max. Streamlining it to the emulator would bring more people back to the OG shooter that started it all.

It would be great if playstation actually made the ps5 backwards compatible so you can play your ps1 ps2 ps3 games not all people like Digital like me as I'd rather have the game itself 😊

Don't have my PS2 anymore, but I still have several PS2 games hanging out in a CD case all safe and sound. PS2 titles I'm anticipating: Dead to Rights 1 & 2, Dynasty Tactics 2, Front Mission 4, Grandia 2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Suikoden 3, 4 & 5, X-Men Legends 1 & 2... and probably several others I'm not remembering at the moment.

Imagine if it just supported disc's. The PS2 market would go insane

I have four PS2s at home. One original and three slim. All with mobile flip screens attached. I also have two PS3s and two PS4s. But my biggest game collection is on the PS2.
