This should be a series! I love seeing us with our coils and locs.
  • @Fudgeey
More of this, please!! LOVE to see our hair celebrated and praised for its aesthetic, especially with our melanin. Authentic 4c Natural Hair Appreciation is desperately needed.

Love "Natural Hair Neutrality"! Let's BE who we are, in full, unapologetic self-expression. 💜🧚🏾‍♂

This video made me take my wig off 😂. We need more videos like this. Authe tic praising and appreciation of type 4 hair.
  • These women including you are so beautiful! My now ex boyfriend hated that i cut my natural hair off. I did it because the dyed hair was too much to manage when it faded. The hair that wasn’t dyed was healthier than the dyed hair. I had my hair almost to the center of my back. I felt no regrets and i adored my hair when i cut it. Her name is stormi. She is coily and cute. And i love her. Whether my hair is to my shoulder(which it is currently), ear, buzzed, or long i love it however it is.
  • Aww , love how you gush over these beautiful 4C styles. My hair is natural 4C, very thin in places, but you inspire me to not hide it. Thanks 😊

4c is so beautiful. the versatility is unmatched!
  • This is genius, I really hope natural hair neutrality becomes the NORMAL. And I hope everyone learns to be okay with how their hair looks and grows as long as it’s healthy. I absolutely adore your content, continue doing you!

When I was younger, my hairstylist used to tell me that water dried out my hair smh she was a popular professional stylist to. I haven’t been to a hairstylist in 12 years. There’s just no trust. The misinformation is insane and having a stylist that hates natural hair is insane

I swear with every video I watch I’m more and more tempted to get locs 😍 with my 4c hair it will look so dope
  • @qtbaba
whew it’s a new thing to me to accept my hair without manipulation - braid out, twist out, slick back etc. but im loving the concept of neutrality!! thank yooou for this

Coils are so beautiful! I love when I see coily hair being treated with the care and respect that it deserves. They don't have to be stretched or changed, they're beautiful.

I love the natural hair the thicker the better, I unfortunately do not have that texture I wish I did, which is one of the reasons I got locked to make my hair look a bit thicker, as you call it 4c hair is a real beauty to have it is a positive thing

More pls😍🥰 I have followed pages on ig specifically for 4c hair because anywhere else it's hard to find. I remember I saw a post where someone said 4c hair is rare, but most of my family has 4c so I always thought it was common but that texturism keeps it hidden. My mom started relaxing my hair when I started kindergarten (even though I hated the process😮‍💨) & I didn't see it natural until I was 15 when my sister would braid it so i could grow it out.
  • One thing i love about our natural hair is how non-dysphoric it is, like it feels gender neutral, cuz it's a hairstyle you seen in both men and women, so you can control how feminine or masculine it looks according to your needs, with accessories, makeup, clothing. Without having to cut it.
  • Mayowa, what a wonderful community you have built! Love how you put the spotlight on your gorgeous followers and their hair 🥺
  • @MSSAM170
This is awesome! I was getting so tired of all of the emphasis on curl definition and spending hours twisting and adding tons of products trying to make my kinks look like curls. I have freed myself from this burden and wearing my hair in it's kinky coily state.
  • Such a lovely video concept, please do more!! Everyone was so gorgeous😊😊
  • @tanini_locd
As someone who has a looser curl pattern...I was actually disappointed at the beginning of my journey because I wanted that texture and tight curl that comes with 4c hair!! My sis hair is more 4c and I drool over it everytime I see it lol 😆😆 love this video
  • Thank you so much for this joyful celebration. What a gift to see so many wonderful creative people accepting and embracing their hair and all that it can be. Love the concept of natural hair neutrality and am personally striving for it. 🙏🏾
