I remember when first watching Julie and Luke it was so annoying how they interrupted each other and Julie was so hyper. But I am used to it now, this is just how they work, I like it and love and admire Julie’s energy, she is lots of fun. They both work so hard to keep Mapperton going and save its history. I enjoyed this look-back vlog.

When you're making jams and jellies, you can't leave them! It's not a question of cooking time, but reaching the setting point and redcurrant jelly is the easiest to make as the fruit already has a ton of pectin in it (so will set quickly and easily).

The Muniment Room was definitely one your your HUGE triumphs this past year -- watching it unfold, it must be said it was such a triumph due to Julie's (and her band of decorators, builders, generally amazing people) HUGE effort -- and to get it complete in time for the Earl's big birthday -- well done!

Julie, I do hope you get better. I think it is going around the world! I also lost my voice just before Christmas and I'm still struggling to stop the coughing. I really appreciate all the work the two of your are doing to protect and preserve the history of England through your channels. But how amazing about the eagles! What structures we have built in the 20th century lasts as long as those eagles. I am sure they will soon soar proudly to welcome all to Mapperton. Best wishes for the new year.
