The key here? Lowering the ISO and ramping up the shutter speed. With settings like 1/2000, f/2, ISO 50, and a cooler white balance, he skillfully turns the daylight scene into a moonlit night.
One key to pulling this off is to have a powerful flash that is able to push plenty of light on your subject. In this case, Pye uses the Profoto B10 which has 500w power.

Great content Tony, fyi - the magmod system will work fine on the Godox AD200 with the standard fresnel lens. A little hard on the fingers to make it fit...but it will fit and work well.
