In the Russo-Ukraine war, a variety of vehicles tell a story of relentless conflict. Military trucks, their green paint chipped and mud-splattered, rumble along war-torn roads, carrying supplies and troops. Armored personnel carriers, dented and scarred, provide cover, their tracks leaving deep grooves in the terrain.

Like the soldiers they support, these vehicles are prepared to face destruction at any moment. The battlefield is littered with the remnants of fierce clashes, including numerous NATO allies' vehicles, captured by Russian forces.

Adding a unique twist to this grim reality, Russia has not only captured but also put on display numerous NATO tanks and armored vehicles seized from Ukrainian forces. These captured vehicles were showcased in an exhibition that opened on May 1, 2024, at Moscow's Victory Park, coinciding with Russia's Victory Day celebrations on May 9th.

    For those who are wondering. The Russians are about to count their 6th captured abrams. They already towed 3 of them one in damaged but not fully destroyed condition. There is 1 wreck and 2 additional damaged but not destroyed abrams in russian control zone.

    French made Leclerc MBTs were never either sold or donated to Ukraine, and Leopard 2 shown in this video is not the most advanced one. However, good video for the most part, I think.

    Now the RU can go thru all this captured equipment to update ther own and create counter measures. Problem with most western equipment is its to expensive(3 to 4 times RU costs), too small in quantity, and due to being so advanced in tech, hard to make in large quantities in a short period of time or in a crisis.

    That's what we know of the wreckages lying on the battlefield are essentially also captured as the front will move above them.

    So? These are NOT newer NATO/USA models. These are surplus models. The model, tech, and capabilities of these things are old or outdated. Not only that, it is no "secret" about these vehicles. China, Russia, North Korea, etc, can all go on YouTube and find just about everything they need to know.

    It's not unusual for equipment to break down in a combat zone & be abandoned. It's just luck & not that much of it.
