In today's vlog we continue south towards home, from Marathon to Sault Ste Marie, all along the Lake Superior shore in Northern Ontario. We stopped in towns like White River and Wawa to see little attractions like the Winnie the Pooh and Goose monuments! There are so many amazing beaches and waterfront rest stops worth checking out, like Old Woman Bay and Katherine Cove in Lake Superior Provincial Park. We also checkout out the Agawa Pictographs which were mind blowing! Make sure you make all these stops on your trip!

Thanks for watching! 😄

We upload a new adventure every Monday!

  • SOOO glad you stopped at Old Woman Bay, Katherine Cove, and saw the Picto’s. Thanks for the shout out for the recommendation. (We had a great trip there, too!) Next time you’re at Lac S., look for the picture of Jennifer at Bathtub Island. We swam in Superior in the first few days of July, 19XX. (Jen at BI was on the wall for years before the cottage reno’s!)

I just visited Duluth-Superior recently. I’ve never seen a Great Lake before. For some reason I can’t convince myself that what I saw was an actual lake. It’s so massive!! The lakes around where I live you can see the other sides in every direction. Like I say I saw a lake, but I just can’t make myself believe what I’m saying because of its size! Awesome place!

interesting thing about the dyke/box canyon near Agawa Rock (180 degrees opposite of where you filmed the boulder stuck between the canyon walls is something known as the "Eye of God" It is an eye carved into the canyon wall. It is caved in such a place that only on the equinox does the sun shine in the center of the eye. Some estimates say that the eye was carved in this rock face in the time of the Minoan Culture during the Bronze Age.
