i have nothing but respect for you man. When i see a guy like you, i just think: There´s a guy who has everything figure out and is not struggling... silly me!!! Thanks for the words, surely gives me perspective into my own struggles.

Mr. Muthurajah, I loved watching you open up about such a sensitive topic, you are a huge influential figure in my life and I’m sure for many others here. Im positive those 4 people in your life are proud of you regardless. I love hearing your record and it shows how much work you put towards it. It really is something special. I’m so blessed you opened up about a topic most creators don’t. You truly are a brilliant soul in this world. Sending love.
  • I needed this today, thank you. Just a word of encouragement..... among your other gifts, you are undoubtedly a gifted teacher. There are thousands of younger children who would be blessed if you ever considered teaching at schools.
  • Man, I completely get this and resonate with it, Anthony. You’re the gold standard of musicianship and this will all work out for you. Being able to get up after getting hit is what makes us resilient and courageous. Thanks for sharing your story and continuing to inspire everyone who sees your posts, myself included!!

Blessings to you, man. Life tends to be hard sometimes, we all loose our loved ones, get ill, fall and rise. And modern culture supresses us to be always happy and perfect. I really respect your channel and hard work you put in it.

Thank you for reminding us that we are human. Its amazing how as human beings we are able to express some emotions and hide others regardless of how emotional music can get. 🙏
  • This guy is all around amazing, love the content 👏🏻👏🏻

Dude, what an honest message. So heavy. So full of truth. Good for you brother. Between this vid & stephen's podcast I feel like a door has opened for you & for us. A little line from a grateful dead tune - once in awhile you can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right. Peace to one & all.

Don't weigh yourself down with regret. You show your gratitude to your mentors with your dedication, it doesn't need to be spoken to them. We are each a cell in God's body

Anthony, I’m pretty new to your channel. As a bass player, you’re an inspiration to me, but now you’re even more of an inspiration to me as a human being. My hand on my heart to you and thank you for tying to make this world a better place. Peace 🌹

Thank you for bringing attention to these issues. As a professional musician turned Public Health student, I 100% agree that these things are often overlooked and thank you for using this platform to reach out to those that need it, including me at times. Love your content, man. Keep it up.
  • Hi Anthony, Your story makes me stronger to keep doing my career without giving up. As a single who lives in Dubai, your story really touched my shit days so badly. Thanks for being a humble person to share your whole scenario. Thanks a Lot.

Great message, man. Life is never going to stop throwing difficulties our way. I know I have felt the urge to quit at music from time to time, but it's all about maintaining yourself on a day-to-day level with all the good things a human needs. You're a great musician, and I am certainly inspired by your music and playing!
  • @cristiandml5553
Wow man, what an experience. It takes a lot of efforts and courage to just to be able to talk about it. Hope you feeling a little better now. I've been following you for quite some time now. You are a good man and a great inspiring musician full of skills. Keep going and doing what you do. We need you. Stay safe and healthy Anthony!
  • Anthony if I had not viewed this video...I would have the same feelings about you. Your lessons are so much more . You add important content that non musicians take to heart. Like others I keep coming back for more of YOU plus your teachings.Wishing you all the best in your future. Our pasts are part of our foundations that gives strength. In your giving we all benefit. Thank you so much.

Anthony, First, thank you for having the courage to talk so honestly about yourself. I'm so sorry about you losing so many people you cared about. Don't be too hard on yourself with regretting that you didn't tell them how much they meant; as you yourself said you were forced to focus on surviving and working on your job as a musician. It's very hard to think about other people when you are struggling figuring out a career and source of income. I'm not a pro musician like you and I haven't had your immigration problems but I can relate to your struggles figuring out a career, dealing with family issues, struggling with self doubt, the meaning and purpose of life, etc. In my case I ended up in a career that I did not love or even particularly like but it paid the bills. FWIW I and many other viewers admire and respect your skills as a bassist. Whatever else is happening in your life, nobody can take that away from you.

Hello Anthony, Having sometimes a hard time dealing with the overwhelming amount of content on this website, your lessons takes a special place for me. When studying with you, I find the same state of the mind as when using paper support : Limited stimuli, focus, inner peace. Thank you for your work on your channel, you help me a lot breaking habits I don't want to have. You inspire me as a musician and educator, but also as an incarnation of kindness. Crazy since we never met ah ! Thank you for the courage of opening up to strangers like myself. Your story made me react by planning to reconnect with beloved ones. Talking about your records, it's a shame I never listen to them, I'll correct that! Also I'd love to hear live music of yours in France if you happen to play there someday :)

Anthony, stay humble and well. We are all humans trying to figure it out. Keep up doing the work you do and be blessed to be in the position you are in. To many of us you are our Mr. Frank. So you have a huge responsibility to stay well for a long time to keep sharing your gift. Be well sir! All the best from Miami.
