People keep asking this so, no doing this does not give a checkpoint/ completion. However it does give loot if you kill the boss.

God damn! Near the beginning, the gap in the red foliage at the top the structure just before the half-pipe where you have to blow yourself up is so small, I have to spend about 5mins trying to find the right place to squeeze through... And you just instantly zoomed straight through it!!
