Inner Balance, Outer Transformation

Published 2024-02-10
I once met a street performer in San Diego who, at first glance, didn't seem to have much of an act. His "thing" was stacking rocks as tall as he could, building precarious towers of different-shaped stones for passersby's amusement.

But there was something about his manner. He had a special way of using focus and mindfulness to get those rocks to do exactly what he wanted, even when it seemed gravity might disagree. When he was done working with a surgeon's precision, we were left staring at a testament to the power of surrender: a tower that somehow balanced perfectly (which, by the laws of physics, was impossible).

It then dawned on me, he wasn't just using ordinary physics… but metaphysics.

While this performer used stones, you can apply the same principles of focus and intention through creative forms of meditation, some that may not seem like meditation at first, to balance our inner world. I'm Mike Dooley, a New York Times bestselling author and teacher on the law of attraction and metaphysics for more than 20 years. In this video, I explore the transformative power of going within, where true balance and clarity await beyond the hustle and bustle of our daily lives.

Just as the street performer carefully placed each rock with intention and surrender to create an impossible tower, we too can achieve a state of inner balance and peace through practices that encourage going within. It's about finding that perfect point of concentration and letting go, allowing the universe to align with our deepest intentions.
