I love using the walking foot for thicker projects. This is an ideal project for the walking foot because of the thickness
  • I made 15 different towel robes for xmas presents about 7 years ago and everyone still talks about them. I even got a bit creative and created tops and bottoms for my more sexy friends. I remembered this idea from a robe my cousin made when I was in college.  Love it and so easy and allow for much creativity.

Ok, so, I've been watching your videos all week long and this is the first project I decided to actually attempt! And I have made 4 of them!!! The women I have given to hand just adored them!!! I'm going to hand them out as Christmas gifts this year I think! Thank you for all your tips and ways to avoid any hang ups! I really appreciate your videos! Thank you so much!!!
  • @indianbarbie
Thank you so much! this was so easy to do and well explained. All the other videos I came across were so complicated! So thank you :)

I think I know what my daughter in laws will be getting this Christmas.... and how adorable would it be to use hand towels for my little nieces!
  • - I opened up a wire hanger - and straighten it out - made a eye/hook on one end - hook the large safety pin in the eye/hook to pull the elastic through the channel -- less of a struggle :)
  • I was wanting to make these for some residence at work, Assisted living, Men !! They are so private! 😂❤
  • This tutorial is so well explained and succinct- It saved me from making some careless mistakes! I was trying to problem solve just how I wanted to do a "spa Wrap" as birthday gifts, & I was getting too complicated and making it much harder than it had to be...You made it all so simple and it was exactly what I wanted to do! Thank you! PS: I say in a positive way, that you should add "Spa Towel Wrap" to your title -- I almost didn't find you -- and what a shame that would have been!

Oh yeah..... consider this done and I don't have to buy anything. Great project. Thanks for sharing.

Brilliant idea! You are such a beautiful lady, inside and out. Clearly pink is your signature color. I am infused with inspiration for myself and my friends. I have been looking for something to give away that is easy, budget friendly, useful  and personalized. Thank you SO MUCH for your elegant video gift!
  • Thank you! I love how it turned out and I'm going to make them as holiday gifts this year :) Take care and I hope you have a GREAT weekend ! HUGS :)

I searched YT for how to add a button and elastic loop so I can secure my towel instead of the old “wrap over and tuck in” method that more often than not unravels itself 🤭. I have a sewing machine but really don’t do much more than straight stitching for mending. I honestly don’t know the ins and outs of sewing and usually just wing it. Don’t know what a walking foot is and didn’t know there was such thing as a denim needle 😂. I found your video and found it very easy to follow so I may try it. I really wanted to try something quick and easy like literally just sewing on a button and an elastic loop on the other end. Wondering what you would suggest is the best way to do this. Thank you!
