ULTRAKILL is a hard game, but there is a level that rises above the rest in terms of sheer difficulty. Not only that, but there is a challenge the game allows for that makes any level noticeably more difficult. In this video I go over the hardest challenge on the hardest level, and how dedicated players of the game absolutely destroyed a level that should've been much, much harder.

(Edit) Errata because I got a few things wrong:
THE BIG ONE: The 30:17 bit where I go off about the exponential multiplier, I accidentally said and implied that it was exponential DAMAGE. It is not. The exponential multiplier applies to STYLE. NOT to damage. (This was a certified TiredNova moment).
27:45-27:48 should have Travis’s name, not Queck’s. Editing is hard.
The slab (or alternate) revolver existed before this level did. I mentioned it after that acting like it didn’t exist for some reason. It existed prior to Travis's 1:31. My brain saw the update it received around that time and put some pieces together incorrectly.
There's several points where I go off about the nailgun being buffed before Queck uses it in a run. Although that was nice, the main reason is because there was a glitch in where you couldn't place magnets in arenas (this was actually thought to be intentional as a way to stop players from doing exactly what happened).

  • I'm pretty sure the slab revolver was released before the run where you mentioned it, as it's visible in Travis' 1.34 run
  • I'm pretty sure when going over the Harmless changes you say that Minos' Judgment doesn't hurt you if you pay it because it's explosion doesn't have a hitbox, and I do think this is true nowadays. But in the footage they're clearly taking damage - I believe this might be something that was changed with a patch.

    8:10 this runner also does a 'coinadd'. Due to the hit lag you can actually throw an extra coin after the first two and get in another reflect even though you didn't throw a third coin.
  • Ever since act 2 dropped I changed my strat for tackling p-1 (I’m not a speedrunner btw). First off the rocket launcher makes nuking more consistent for FP, especially freezeframe. Second, I put a magnet onto Pinos after my saw and overheat nail trap to attract rockets to the boss, go airborne INTENTIONALLY to get Pinos to use an uppercut, and then shoot my rockets at him since they do the boosted explosion when he is in the air.

    ....watching people kill Minos before he can even take a step is a very painful thing to watch after looking at the days of grinding it took me to just regularly kill him for the first time. excited to see the P-2 version of this video in a few years XD
