I'm 65. grew up in the '60's era' on motown. dylan, janice joplin, grace slick, mama cass, carol king, joni mitchell, judy collins, joan baez, mimi farina, simon garfunkel. the list of the 60's is long. I have now become a fan of your music. much to my surprise. your music is inspires me. Bountiful lyrics that re-create an era of political change. Your a breath of fresh air in which i can 'inhale'. It's so humbling for me to be able to comment on your youtube page. Thank you 'Joanne' for persevering magical notes that string together a foundation of connectedness with our day to day living through insightful lyrics. Forever a Fan.

This girl can dance, act, sing pop, rock, country, blues, jazz, oldies, write songs, play instruments... what a legend. Deserves every inch of her success
  • One of the most powerful, emotional, spiritual songs created. This is a timeless aria, drawing out the deepest pain and grief. And then gifting us, the listeners, the purest message of hope.

I have goosebumps reading all the comments seeing how many lives Gaga has literally saved and inspired through this song. It's a beautiful and powerful message. God bless her and God bless everyone that are way stronger than they can even see.
  • I came here because I wasn't okay and while I was reading comments, I cried because it is good to see all of you being kind to each other. We can get through all of these.

I just want to drop a quick note to say to every single person who has commented on this video, to remind them that this world is a far better place with them in it, so good luck, please stay strong and reach out if you need to. You will never be a burden to your loved ones and remember they would much rather spend however long it takes listening to you than listening to some priest or minister talk about you at a funeral. Love and best wishes.
  • This was my daddy’s favourite song ❤️ we played it at his funeral when he had passed, what a great song 🤍
  • You helped my daughter in more ways than you know. She was battling through some dark stuff in our family and your song, this song, became hers. She had me listen to it because she struggles so much with voicing words in her head and it helped me realize I was her reason to stay. Thank you. Thank you for helping me save my little girl it means so much more than you know. 💜

I had a low point in my life being a gay guy from a small Mississippi town I did overdose but when i was revived at the hospital this was the first thing heard when I woke up. This song changed my outlook on my life and loneliness..... Thank you for this.... It was my one reason to stay. "Every heartbreak makes it hard to keep the faith" Your song saved me Lady GaGa and I am forever changed. I wish I could show my gratitude in person but I doubt one little gay guy in Greenville, MS will ever get the honor. Keep inspiring. I love you. You saved me.
  • I'm at the darkest moment of my life, but this song gives me some hope to be grateful for still living.

"Lord, show me the way." I don't know anymore. Each day gives me reason not to stay, each day hurts, and each day is tiring. What should I do Lord? I know you would not give trials I cannot handle but I can't take it anymore. But I still believe that all of these have good reasons that will make sense someday. Please make me stronger to get all through it each day.

What i understand is the fact that she is going through heartache or depression and she can barely move or something by herself, her crew came to rescue her and take her to the "come back", the healing process, they help her through and don´t leave her alone, she´s fighting to stand still.

This song deserves better recognition!!! Underrated. I'm happy that it's #1 on itunes now
  • And when we are millions of years away, we will still have millions of reasons to listen to you and love you Gaga ❤️🇧🇷
  • I have listened to her music, sang it since bad romance, got my voice back from the torn cords, I find her music soothing, and about life, no matter how tough it gets don't give up, and don't walk away till it's time! Now to buy a cd.
