Thank you for watching the videos, this year was rough for a lot of reasons but despite everything all your support really helped me end mine on a positive note. I'm very greatful for all the people around me be it the team, my friends, and whoever enjoys the videos, and I'm excited about what we can achieve this next year :)

For those who didn’t watch the stream, Jaiden actually lost her first attempt at the Elite Four. Her Togekiss died to a crit Stone Edge against Aaron’s Heracross, and her Garchomp and Quagsire had really unlucky deaths against Bertha’s Rhyperior. Since the rest of her team was weak against Flint, she gave up. However, since the reason for her losing was extremely unlucky and not mistakes on her part, she did a poll asking if she could retry the Elite Four. 70% said yes, so she did it again. She won, but it was hollow. “Alternate Timeline Jaiden” was her, when she lost the first attempt.

So for anyone confused about the whole giratina timeline jazz I’ll explain. In the nuzlocke during the stream Jaiden had lost half her team while fighting the elite 4 and held a poll during the stream where she would restart from the Pokémon Center in front of the elite 4 this is why she kept seeing flashbacks those are the Pokémon who died during those fights. Just thought I’d explain for anyone confused. Edit: For anyone looking for the stream it was reuploaded by “A daily dose of Jaiden”

I love how Jaiden chose to incorporate both of her experiences with the elite four into the story. It is creative, unnerving, and seriously memorable. That one flash of Togekiss is haunting...
  • @blu-jay
The first time I saw this, I thought the whole thing with the 2 Jaidens and the glitching and the alternate timeline was actually part of the game's plot. Now after reading the comments I realize the meaning and have a new found respect in Jaiden's creative storytelling.
  • To those curious about the glitchy scenes, she lost to flint in her "first run", and if you pay attention to the weird scenes she showed images of who beat who which was actually amazing, what happened was that during aaron, togekiss was killed, but that was ok. However against bertha, rhyperior took out quagsire which was her sole plan to take out garchomp. This caused her to make the rash decision of throwing in garchomp against a th rhyperior with earthquake and avalanche which cost her that too. If you look at the video it shows thyperior holdimg both garchomp and quagsire. Then, flint finished her team as they all were weak to fire which is shown how everyone left is burnt in the flames. She decided to go again because of course that's what we wanted and she managed to win.

I thought the weird glitchy flashbacks were just flashy and fun, but according to the comments, Jaiden actually failed the Elite Four on her first attempt and got a retry. That was a fantastic and creative method to both be open about your loss, as well as make something wildly entertaining and visually spectacular! Excellent work, Jaiden!

I feel so bad for poor Failure the shinx, he was so happy to be caught and so scared and confused in his first battle WHERE HE IMMEDIATELY DIED😭
  • @Schnapsbrennor
Her adapting her failure into her story like that is AWESOME. Who gives a shit about NL rules! So amazing. So smooth.
  • @Tiagodp30
the truth about the history of this parallel universe is that Jaiden lost the first time she went to elite 4, but she went back in her savepoint in the elite four, I watched the livestream (I edited because some people are getting confuse, no she didn't restart the whole game, she just came back to the last save point in the elite four)
  • @kachowbish
Her Scizor bullet punching while Approaching Cynthia played, chills, ALSO THE FEELING OF OUT SPEEDING THAT DAMN GARCHOMP IS THE BEST FEELING EVER.
  • @pyguy7
Watching Shinx turn around and just watch in horror on his own impending demise is just horrifying to watch...AND SHE ANIMATED IT THAT WAY!
  • @wonjest23
I personally liked this video because according to the other comments. Jaiden lost her first attempt in the Pokémon league and the corruption edits are from the jaiden that fell off the distortion world’s perspective. I loved that because it is showing the people who didn’t watch the stream. Also the picture shows the team dead, burnt, or some other fatality Edit: Holy Moly! Thanks For The Likes
  • I can see now that when people get into Nuzlocke’s, they get so into the game and their beloved pokemon that they worked so hard on that they cannot accept a defeat. They didn’t want to fail. They didn’t want the worst things to happen, and losing a nuzlocke is such an emotional loss for other people cause they can grow attached to their team just like how people grow attached to their beloved pets who always helped them go through a lot of things. Tbh I would cry, even if it’s just a game. My team is the only team I want to win. I do not want to go through the acceptance of losing everything… And maybe it’s something I will have to do, is to take a defeat…. And start over
  • @Burai-un
I’ve watched this video a lot…. ALOT ALOT ALOT….. and the ending is just so deep. I know it’s coming every time but the words just hit every time. “I don’t think I can accept this victory, I don’t know what ending was meant for me and I don’t think I ever will” literally makes my eyes water. EVERY TIME
  • @MysticalStd
Start: Fun and wholesome End: existential crisis
  • @Protopro91
For anyone who doesn't understand: Jaiden actually "lost" this Nuzlocke the first time she challenged the Elite Four. Her team was wiped out, but instead of quitting when she was so close, she chose to try again to at the very least beat the game, much to the support of her livestream at the time.
  • @pyguy7
I love that you used "Don't ever forget" from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon explorers of Sky. Supremely underrated game soundtrack and expertly used here. Thank you for that.
  • @da_bomb_skits
The ''i dont know what ending is right for me.. and I don't think I ever will'' HIT HARD
