Only Schlatt can actively bombard children with irrelevant information and still somehow get them to love him. What a legend

Love how Daniel and Schlatt are like, actually good with kids, and then Lily is in desperate need of help
  • @OnlySushiCat
Schlatt has uncle who visits twice a year energy

"i had an outlet, and a bunch of silverware", I see Schlug is trying to recreate the disasters of 99'

Schlatt should have taught them the second most important thing a New Yorker should know.
  • Say what you want about Schlatt tormenting kids but you gotta admit pulling out the note was an insane play.

I blame you for knowing who schlatt is and still putting him in a room with impressionable children.

Schlatt seems like a genuinely nice and kind person who kids would actually want to be around A classic sign of sociopathy, common in serial killers

The fact that the title is schlatt traumatizes kids and he ends up getting a love letter from one of them is the turn of the century

Not the first time, won't be the last.

as someone whos worked with kids this is my personal assessment that nobody asked for !! daniel: talks to them like a friend, but still makes sure theyre safe. asks them what they like and incorporates that into their activity. has an enthusiastic voice and matches their energy without sounding demeaning. it can be hard to figure out how to talk to certain age groups and it's good to be able to talk to kids at their level. overall, very good !! schlatt: he doesn't really talk to them any differently than he would anyone else and kids like that. his choice of activities, while weird and confusing, are still probably funny to the kids. he gives older brother vibes. he seems like the kinda guy parents wouldn't necessarily like the influence of over their kids, but the kids love. unsure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.. kyedae: she is not awful with kids. definitely better than they were all joking about. she's a very calm and soothing presence. while they weren't all actively playing together, they were participating in a similar, but separate, activity. parallel play is an important thing for kids to do. she indulged them in idle chit-chat and expressed her interest in what the kids were telling her. the dog bit would be awkward for anyone, so i wouldn't worry too much about that. rooney seemed fine and was just establishing boundaries. i'd say kyedae is more of a motherly figure. lily: unfortunately, kids are able to tell when you're nervous and don't know what you're doing. daycare work is very different, because that deals with much younger children. lily is clearly out of her element here. i don't think she did anything horribly wrong, she just seemed very lost. i doubt the kids disliked her; they probably just felt similarly awkward.

imagine these kids, like ten years in the future just having this random memory being in a wooden room with strangers. They’re gonna think it’s a dream😭

Schlatt is just a natural tormentor

From this video, Schlatt is the only person I would trust with my kid. Despite his jokes, his demeanor and attitude was calm and cool and had a plan to make the kids laugh. He wasn’t nervous or worried, he knew what he was doing and loved having fun with them. I wanna be a dad like Schlatt
