I was lucky to hear the sheikh give this talk in person. You could feel the silence, sombre and reflective mood in the room which had thousands of people subhanAllah

What a beautiful talk. I am a new Muslim, I took my shahada in September. I haven’t known a single Muslim for 30 years, but I remembered back then learning Al Fatiha and it was always in my heart. I NEED to hear these words.

I watch Al Jazeera and am amazed at the patience and resilience of the Palestinians. This can only come from deep faith and trust in God

I went into severe depression since the war started, and buy the end of December I lost my job. Because I couldn’t barely function.. I have recurring depressive disorder.. i work in social media, my parents tell me dont watch videos from Gaza.. I have friends who have not stopped protesting and posting , so occasionally i go n support their efforts.. but when u have medical condition like me.. when your body doesn’t produce seretonine and then u lose your job.. u start questioning where is allah .. I am so grateful to Shaykh for this talk because it restored my faith.. I kept thinking where is allah.. I am sorry my iman is weak.. but I m trying.. don’t hate please

I grew up so distant from Islamic scholars who all looked the same, long beards - shouting at the TV that all is haram. I have since found a scholar who actually inspires me, and shows me the true beauty of Islam. Thank you truly Imam Omar Suleiman. Truly a breath of fresh air🙏🏼 May Allah shower blessings over you for all the good you do; for those that you guide back to Islam and the platform you use for good. Ameen.

This message was truly a blessing. I'm Christian n no Christian churches are teaching us on what is before us. I stand with Palestine as a black woman in America, I can relate. I cry everyday when I c my sisters n brothers in Gaza/West Bank. Peace be Unto You All. 🍉❤️

Alhamdulillah! I just feel compelled to say that Allah opened my heart to Islam, but he used you Dr. Omar, to help guide me on the path. I am half black, half white from a rural part of New York where I had never even talked to a Muslim before I took my Shahada. This was almost a month ago and your videos gave me great certainty that I was making the right decision. The fact that these brothers welcomed a stranger into their family and continue to check up on me has been a feeling of overwhelming happiness. Jazakallahu Khairan ya ahki.

My Iman has become weak during these past few months. I’m ashamed and I pray to Allah SWT revive me back in a better and stronger state of Iman. This dunya has broken my heart in a Million pieces seeing my ummah suffering is extremely heartbreak, but seeing the Muslim leaders Turning the other cheek is pure disappointment. ( I remind myself this is a test not only for me but for them for everyone .. this is a mere test of our Iman. Our foundation ( deen over dunya ) We must look to our deen, Ya Rabb please help us Ameen 🤲🏾

They are not asking where Allah is, they are asking where we are. A question Allah Himself is going to ask us! Subhanallah 😢😢

The words of wisdom Dr. Omar Suleiman speaks to our hearts is something I can’t even describe. I’m not a Muslim but seeing what Palestine and Gaza are going through broke me. I questioned God so many times why we have to hurt so much and this gives me so much peace to continue to trust God in the worst moments. May we continue to pray and come together as one. 🙏🏽🤍

My tears were flowing with grief when I listened to him, but now when I read the 4th ayat in al Fatihah "Master of the Day of Judgement", it is such a comfort.

You are the closest thing I can think a human be like our Beloved prophet pbuh, so I can't even imagine how great and amazing he was, May allah protect you.

This is the reason why I've chosen to learn about Islam and read the Quran. I am in awe of the Palestinian people, their strength, and faith. They never question their belief that Allah has their back while being subjected to the most vile atrociites a people can bear. Amazing. My agnosticism has been challenged. I want to know more.
