One aspect of this that wasn't mentioned, but is worth noting, is that by creating a common enemy of Israel, oppressive regimes can distract their populations from their own domestic economic, social and political problems and failures. Every country does this: A boogeyman is a great way to stay in power.

😂😂 Suddenly autocratic nations’ leaders are good representation of the public…

Ask the Jordanians about what happened when they let the PLO into their country years ago. Hint: it didn't go well.

"The arab world is outraged" When are they ever not outraged? They are always outraged, unless they committ horrible atrocities themselves, then they stay silent.
  • Ok, but we all know the story of the region didn't start in 1947, right?
  • Nakba When your leaders chose war instead of peacefully building a new country and went on a rampage with a dream of erasing an entire new nation, but failed catastrophically!
  • They realized it’s better to get along and rake in the cash then to war and spend cash

Those Arab countries know that Israel will abide by the agreement, but Hamas will not. They also want to be free from Hamas' political influence through terrorism. Many Arab countries will support Israel even if they do not say so.

The enemy of the Saudi's is Iran... which is also the enemy of the USA. So it's logical that both countries have common goals. You can see a clear divide in the alliances in the region. The Palestinians, Syrians, Lebanese, Iranians, Russians and Chinese on one side; the Israelis, USA, Saudi's and Europe on the other.

I'm currently studying Persian in Isfahan, and believe me Iranians, regardless of their state narrative are vocal about oppression in all corners of the globe. It's never about religion or a common shared culture. In contrast even though Arab states support Israel, Arabs seem to be soley vocal for their own kind. Kashmir, Kurdistan, Armenia, Turkestan never make it to the list of the oppressed. Sad. It shouldn't be about numbers or religion, or independence movements anyways. Poverty and class discrimination are as much of a human suffering as war, and are prevalent everywhere in Afro-Asia and South America.

These cowards are their own worst enemies, Gaza has exposed them.

Better to have a peaceful enemy than a belligerent brother.
  • Morocco is not a Arab state, we are not arabs, we proud of our berber amazigh african identity
  • Because sometimes your self interests align and the enemy of my enemy may not be my friend but they can at least fight roughly on the same side.
