This comes right after Versailles in my playlist. Really makes the "something is lurking in the dark" line from Versailles and the references to the treaty in this hit really hard.

A villain song that tells the story of an Argentine grandfather. I hope none like that guy won't rise again.

This along with Wehrmacht and Panzerkampf are some of my favorite non-Carolus Rex album songs (all of those obviously take the top), I think Rise of Evil is pretty underrated considering how amazing the riffs are.

The catchyness of the song also captures something, when the Nazi's arouse into power they would use vivid speeches propaganda and fashion to entice people into joining or supporting, when i played this for a friend once they didn't pay much attention to the lyrics or what they were saying, they were bobbing they're head to it in enjoyment, they turned blue when I told them it was singing about the rise of the Nazi's, I feel the catchyness of this song captures that evil always wears a smile and if your not careful you'll fall right into its trap, evil will glamorize itself, this song is a work of art Sabatons is the best history teacher in my opinion

Best Sabaton song by far in my opinion. When i study the rise of the Nazi party I come back to this song as it evokes all the sinister feelings and foreshadows the terror that would come to pass. It is important that we never make the same mistakes again and remain ignorant of the rise of evil.

I feel like some of us thought "There is no way Sabaton would do lyric videos for Attero Dominatus, and if they did they'd probably skip Rise of Evil" I thought the same and look where we are now!

I find the marching hilarious now, (in a good way) because of how Joakim said it was created.
