  • I was going with Sanctuary in our house with very little south facing light. It came through very cream and dated. We asked SW to modify it to Egret which was our backup fav and I love it so far. I wanted to refresh our entire house so I tested it on every wall in the house. It looks different on every wall but always comes through warm-grayish-taupeish-beigeish. It’s the perfect blend!

I have this color in my living room/hallway. The purple/pink undertones definitely show up in certain light, although I'm the only one that notices it. For that reason I don't love it, but it's the perfect LRV for our lighting condition.

I heard it is very similar to bm pale oak so i painted two adjacent rooms then wow! Dining room with less sunlight totally turned purple! It would work in lots of natural lighted rooms or in certain decor but i was very disappointed but my painters loved it

Just came across your channel and love your paint reviews! I’m wanting to update my main floor/kitchen/family room. North facing windows. What color would you recommend that’s just slightly more pigmented then Egret white?
  • Our kitchen cabinets are painted egret and I love them! -South and west light. Sampled it in other rooms and not loving! Ugh! A chameleon for sure.

I’m painting my exterior evergreen fog and a sherwin williams design consultant recommended egret white for my exterior trim. What are your thoughts on that?
  • Hi, I appreciate your expertise. I have one space for living dining and kitchen. I have lots of light. I am going for a light coastal vibe. I was going to use egret white what would you reccomend.
  • My cabinets are alabaster would you do egret white on walls , maybe even at 50 percent and do pure white on trim? Who knew alabaster cabinets would be soooo hard to pair!!!!
  • Great review! I can’t believe how ha red it is to pick a color for my exterior walls. I’m looking at this color for my home which is south facing. What white do you recommend for trim that won’t clash? Thank you!

You have such informative videos but the sound is getting lower and lower.

I usually end up mixing my own colors as opposed to keep buying samples or more paint to waste.
