I honestly really love this evan. It really seem like thats how hes gonna act if he grew up. After all, theres no way those trauma wouldnt affect him, since expressing his emotions only makes it worst i can imagine he just shuts everyone out and just hid behind a mask (popular coping mechanism with a hint of sass, we know plenty of character that does that) and then cutting contact after he moved, only getting back in contact after he feels like he healed enough to tolerate their bs.
